google search "Bedini motor" and you will find tons of construction plans it uses "Back EMF" or capturing the collapsing magnetic field. there are small kits you can DIY for "Proof of Concept" (I played around with it back in the Mid 1970's back when the old "KELLEY NET BBS" was still a thing) you can find a majority of the old Files in PDF format that are easy to download and the parts required are easily sourced from parts houses like the HALTEC catalog

If you ask a physicist or electrical engineer about this possibility, you may hear that the static field cannot produce an electric charge. This is true. But the Earth's magnetic field is not static. It fluctuates, and it is these fluctuations in the magnetic field that are likely to represent a source of energy. Gravity and the magnetic field are complementary. Only their direction and function are different. The force travels from the earth's core to its extremities. When it starts to jump from the extremes (N/S) into the vacuum of space, it weakens and turns into magnetism. Nothing can be created out of nothing. The force of gravity (gravitation) fed by the natural magnetism of the earth must be used. There is no harm to the environment. When the system is working, the forces only change places. Therefore, the Earth's rotation time remains constant for 24 hours. Conservation of momentum in a system of bodies. In the case of a system of bodies, Newton's second law of rotational motion has the form = image. From this relationship it follows that if the algebraic sum of the torques of the external forces on the system is zero, the angular momentum of the system is held constant.

For something to be ‘free’, it can’t cost anything to ‘start’ it. I think the argument is that since you had to ‘start’ the wheel spinning, that constitutes a ‘cost’, maybe like a labor charge or similar, so therefore anything that comes from that ‘start’ cannot technically be free. I think.
