Mike, can You tell me how power divider split torque in 1st driven axle? 50:50% or 33:67%? How much suspension travel typically air suspension has on tri drive? We don't have tri drive at all. But when I go for 6x6 timber truck, I can select switchable or permanent 6x6. Switchable don't have differential inside, it is dog clutch so ratio is 50:50%. Permanent 6x6 will provide 30:70% on dry straight road, when lock differential than it is 50:50% of course. For serious offroad use I always suggest permanent of course.
@@mikethetrucknut well that may be a good thing for me. I'm considering a new heavy haul truck and this 367 hi-hood just jumped in front of the 567 for a build. Wow! With the set back front axle, that would decrease the distance from the front bumper to the fifth wheel correct? (I'm trying to stay under 90 feet overall length with a 4 axle tractor, 3 axle RGN, single axle booster.) "Open 8" configuration
