The way Buck said "I am free" it seriously felt like there was a double meaning there. This is really his first big step into exploring this side of himself, and I am looking forward to seeing how his character progresses through those changes throughout the season.
I said the exact same thing under the 7x05 promo video. I felt him when he said "I am free". He's faced so much in the last 6 seasons and his own self discovery journey. Now, it feels like a heavy weight has been lifted off his shoulders. This was a joyous, monumental moment. Oliver and Lou have great chemistry. Well done!!!

I think it's more than that too, I think he was making it obvious that he likes him, or so he thought, as well as he thinks Buck likes Eddie(I dont blame him) and realizing he's been trying so hard to get his attention was a surprise. XD
After seeing the sneak peek for next week I feel like he is gonna mess up this relationship and just maybe Eddie will be jealous and realize a certain something… maybe not, but we can hope
@@Lavealikesreading ofcourse everyone will go for their own ship or will see the characters in their own way. Personally I think Eddie is Bucks soulmate like no one before. Buck only had some one night stands in the beginning and after that relationships that didn't make him happy or fulfilled at all. He never had a home like Eddie and felt unloved by his own parents. Eddie is giving him exactly the "mate" love he needs and with Christopher they've established a new family for Buck, this is shown and said throughouht the whole series (like the scene he shows at Eddies' and immediately fells asleep on his couch). Ofcourse this was portrayed the whole time as best buddies relationship, but their chemistry has done the rest and also Olivers acting everytime Ryan aka Eddie was hurt or lost or whatever, he instantly breaks and is never ok without Eddie. No chance a new sexual awakening will simply make him as happy as he wishes to be, there's this sensation where he adores Tommy, but anything happens, he will still go back to Eddie, no matter what, because s*x only doesn't fullfill him, it's his connection with Eddie and also his son. Also, it was pretty obvious in this ep, he was craving for Eddies attention, not Tommys. He only had a small scene with him at the start. He's most likely lying to himself because he doesn't want to ruin the friendship with Eddie. Maybe Buddie won't happen, who knows. But no chance a guy like Tommy is someone Buck needs. Sorry for writing so much btw. :D I am still not over this ep waah

I couldn't live without her and she's the most important person in my life. And I know she feels the same. But I would never ever want to date her. She's not my type. And I'm bi. Just not her. And the thing is I know she feels the same (she's hetero tho). Now personally I think buddie could be great but Eddie has no emotional IQ whatsoever. Like zero. Which is fine really everyone has their strength. But buck is someone who shows his emotions openly and I think Eddie would need a lot of growing before he can deal with that. Tommy from what I've seen is kinda the opposite in that aspect. It's hard to explain but I just think buck needs someone who is more in tune with their emotions than Eddie. Honestly, this was sooooo... I cant even put it into words. I am so happy Buck might finally get a chance to be happy and be himself. This was a beautiful scene and I am excited to see more os self discovery and acceptance by Buck with himself. It just makes so much sense. My heart is so full. Oliver Stark, I love you.

While I am not the biggest fan of Tommy, it was beautiful and seeing the realization dawn on Buck face that he could have this, that it made sense and that he was discovering the missing piece to his happiness was everything. The face you make when it finally clicks. The confusion, the lingering thoughts, wondering why you’re feeling such unfamiliar emotions, and then it suddenly makes sense. Even though these thoughts were unspoken in this scene, you can clearly see it in his face. Oliver did such an amazing job in showing that. Such a talented actor!
This is such a momentous occasion!!! Buck is Bi!!! I want to give Oliver and ABC the biggest hug for looking after Buck and understanding him!!! We still have a long way to go with all this but I’m so excited for what this new chapter for Buck will bring!!!

My sister is now deaf and bruised thanks to me. I was screaming and hitting her arm for a solid two minutes 😂. The entire episode I was like am I crazy? Did Tommy just check Buck out? Is Buck making eyes at Tommy? Yes was my answer! I'm so happy for Buck. He deserves this. Now all I need is for Eddie to come to his senses and I'll be even more happy!
I had a feeling this was coming & I’m totally here for it. Oliver & Lou are both incredible actors and I’m sure they’re going to do a brilliant job with this Buck/Tommy storyline. They have great chemistry & this scene is so good.
After watching this more times than I want to admit, I just noticed what may be my imagination or may be real subtext. But I think that Tommy was surprised that Buck was trying to get *his* attention and not *Eddie's!* I mean, the *only* reason Buck and Eddie haven't burned their workplace down with their chemistry sparks is that they work in a firehouse.
and then asking Buck if the kiss was OK. making sure he didnt just cross a boundary. And buck just standing there shocked and smitten. And the response too. i just melted.

Don’t rush this guys. There’s so many real things that’ll and should take place. Realization, of his feelings, questioning of his feelings, Eddie’s acceptance especially coming from a Hispanic/latin culture could be a thing, make it feel as real as possible. Jealousy/avoidance. Etc
This is making me realize that (while I still believe in a Buddie endgame), Buck wasn't at Eddie's house and Tommy showed up to interrupt them. He was with Tommy, and Eddie interrupts them. I didn't see it until this scene, but the story framing was there. Some stuff was clearly jealousy of hanging out with Eddie (like about his relationship with Chris), but in hindsight you can see Buck wanting to hang out with Tommy o.o
Buck saying “I’m free” 1:23 definitely didn’t mean he was just free on Saturday it is meaning he is free from himself able to be open to himself about who he is
I think the writers and Oliver did this scene right. The way he felt during and then after was a massive amount of emotion overload. You feel somewhat giddy, excited, a little perplexed but he enjoyed it. It's a whole new adventure to a whole new life experience. Now lets hope they don't rush all this and things go in a positive direction. Can't wait to see how Eddie and the gang respond to Bucks new revelation.

I have watched three to four times now, doesn't make sense that buck can maim Eddie to get Tommy's attention and jealous? Have been watching this series only for buddies friendships. It's like Wilson in Dr House liking Amber cos she is just like House. I think Buck is attracted cos Tommy is like Eddie. One week sounds too long for the wait now.

Can’t believe we finally get Bi Buckaroo! 🥹 Oliver’s acting is top-notch! 🤌 Staying true to Buck’s personality of wearing his heart of his sleeve. His eyes showed it all; excitement, insecurity, stun, relief, desire, happiness. He even had tears in his eyes. Poor baby. 🥹 The sentence ‘I’m free.’ meant a lot more than just being free for the date. It meant he’s finally free from anything holding him back and he can now accept the other part of who he really is. Tommy is also very nice and mature enough for Buck. It’s time they threw someone in that can chase Buck and lead him at the same time. Poor Buckaroo is too exhausted from all of his past romances. They have that chemistry! It’s the best kiss of Buck by far on the show. Most romantic and fieriest! 🥵🔥 This whole scene is just so perfect. Worth the wait. It ain’t done cheap! 👍

Being honest, I think Buck and Eddie's relationship goes a bit deeper than the obvious ! This is where I don't want to see things go wrong, we all know Buck and Eddie love each other, it's never stated, other than in looks or specific words, it's never spoken as though they are a couple in a relationship. I adore the fact that if anything ever happened to Eddie, he wants buck to be Chris's Guardian/dad. I don’t know something about Tommy’s calm demeanor, and his voice and his facial expressions, and how he’s looking so deep into bucks eyes makes him so attractive I can’t wait to see more of them together.
I'm not shocked by the content of the scene I'm just shocked they finally gave it to us I know a lot of us were rooting for Buddie but we got to take what we can get cuz Fox was never going to let this happen. This plus the Bachelor cameo best 100th episode ever
And to think, we were nervous about the show moving to ABC lol. Aside from anything to do with shipping/Buddie, this is so monumental. He likes Tommy, and Tommy likes him; even if Buck ends up with Eddie in the end, which I would DIE for, it's nice to see Buck happy and having a good time exploring this side of himself.
The expression on his face.... The world upends, shatters into a million pieces, but before you can respond it all comes together and suddenly makes sense. That feeling of gears clicking together properly for the first time ever. That wave of 'rightness' that comes as a complete surprise. And he's got all that in his face..... This actor is impressive.
The chances of Buddie being canon a single ep after Buck was confirmed bi is a reach. Like I've been a buddie stan since season 2 but it just isn't realistic that it would become canon considering Eddie is in a relationship with a woman. I LOVE THE SPIRIT THO!
@@Megan-bj4ib I read an interview Oliver did about the episode. Apparently, Tommy's sticking around for at least a few more episodes. Which makes total sense. I'm still not sold on Buddie happening. I'll believe it when I see it, I guess.
My guess is that Tommy and Buck will have some moments, but it will come out that Tommy is a player and not what Buck is looking for. Eventually Buddie will find its way.
I was watching the scene and I thought, “my gosh, they have a lot of chemistry and they seem like they’re flirting,” but I figured it would end just like it always does with us being teased but nothing actually happening and then I was like, “they should just kiss” and they actually did! I was so excited, especially with how much Buck liked it! Also, how adorable is it that Tommy always calls him Evan instead of Buck!
OMG. I read about this but was seriously questioning if it was true. I'm so happy for Buck finally figuring out what he wants, not going to lie I'm a little disappointed it's not Eddie especially after Oliver and Ryan's interview but we are only 4 episodes in 😉🤞. I love jealous Buck but I would truly love to see jealous Eddie, Buck shows his emotions easily it would be nice to see the same from Eddie or him just finding a way to keep buck busy like with Christopher. Now we just wait and see what the writer's have in store for us over these next two seasons ❤️. Always so much love for the actors ❤.
I can't over what an amazing actor Oliver is (I have know this for while but) in this scene I really saw it. The way he can deliver a line that he has most likely said 100 times in order to remember it but play it off as if Buck is realizing it as he is saying it is one of the hardest things to do in acting. Also not sure how many takes the kiss was but if it was more than once no one would ever know by how well he does the shock and awe moment. And if that is not enough to be amazed throw in the fact that is doing an accent through all of it.

I’m still in shock after that episode and this scene, looks like we’re on the right path to buddie. Buck has to work out this new thing now, and Eddie needs to see buck with another man to realise, oh y he doesn’t like it so much, and Eddie will have to go on a self discovery of y he doesn’t like it so much, because he doesn’t want buck to be with anyone else. So for now Tommy and buck will work, Eddie just needs to realise now.
I don't want to burst anyone's bubble, I honestly hope Eddie accepts buck and tommy, as in all the last 6 years, there has never been a hint that Eddie has sexual feelings for Buck, I also have a feeling that Chris is going to be more accepting about this than some others may be, Chris is an amazing young man and very wise for his age, he understands a lot more than people give him credit for. I will be surprised if Eddie goes off the deep end about this, as I think his and bucks friendship/relationship is better than petty annoyances.

Finally!!! this is the Buck I have been waiting for since season 1. It may not be Buddie but at least we got Buck and he seems to be very happy and I'm okay with his new direction. I hope we get a jealous Eddie arc as I believe he and Buck are still endgame.
