Highlights of the #9 Razorbacks 80-54 blasting of the Cardinals in the quarterfinal round of the 2022 Maui Invitational. Stats: www.hogstats.com/boxscore.php?...
We're young. We'll take our lumps early but no doubt we will give plenty when it matters. I'm going to go ahead and pencil them in to the Sweet 16. WPS!
What a fun team to watch. Lightyears from how they played overseas a few months ago. That's a testament to how great of a coach Muss is. He's got these guys playing heads up ball and they're really good at it.
This team is definitely exciting to watch! It's hard not to look forward to how these players will develop and progress moving forward into SEC play and beyond. I'm certainly glad the football team finally became bowl eligible, and they need to get that first win @ Mizzou on Friday, but having a legitimate Top-10 Razorback basketball team really eases the pain of a lackluster football season.
Another game, another great council dunk at @5:25! Also the sequence right after this with the defense and dunks was unreal. This team has the potential to be absolutely brutal to opposing teams.
Black was killing Louisville with those 3 pointers! Mitchell was definitely a stand out today with his dunks!! They all did awesome! Great ready against Creighton! WPS!
Great D. When the play-by-play guy noticed that Mitchell caused the TO, ran the floor for the dunk, and is getting more minutes than anticipated, I was yelling at my tablet that the hustle is why he is getting playing time. Nick was the first guy out to congratulate his teammates. I don't think there will be a problem with him meshing, but I hope he gets significant time before SEC play begins. I don't know if there is a dream job out there for Yurachek, but he is turning the whole athletic department into a program no one can afford to leave. WPS!
I have a really good feeling about this team and this year.. don’t want to put the horse before the wagon, but I hope they keep improving because they’re already scary good 👀
They’re doing this without their lottery pick guard that can score from anywhere anytime. This team without Nick Smith is an easy Sweet 16 team. With Nick Smith, there is no limit to their potential. Win or lose tomorrow against Creighton, this team will be better going forward. No Muss team has ever looked this good in November. He needs NBA money come the next contract extension.
I’m cautiously optimistic. I’ve seen situations like this where an excellent comes in and messes up the chemistry that’s been developed. I don’t believe it will happen with Nick. Just hope they keep playing as a team and not for individual stats.
Not hating on Arkansas but this won’t be the last time someone has a career game on Louisville this year. It’s really sad what’s going on there right now.
@@WARMACHINE2013 Firing the AD was equally as harmful. Tom Jurich was the man. He would have hired a better replacement coach instead of a decent ex player.
We hired Chad Morris in football before we hired our current AD so I feel your pain with people higher upn in the university making horrible decisions. Louisville has too much tradition and fan support to stay down forever.
I hope you’re right. We definitely have tradition, but fan support has all but disappeared because of one allegation after another. I wouldn’t be surprised if rich Ky. alumni staged or even funded some of the investigations. They hate Louisville very badly, or anyone else that ever beat them. They hate to lose so bad they have taken the fun out of friendly competition. Lots of backwoods egos going on there.
