"Not very representative" I'm sorry these sliders don't represent your boobs, Matthew Stratford. Perhaps you can go find yourself in Skyrim mods? LMFAO
this is shaping to be the greatest game of all time! Can't wait to play as a transgender black dwarf with physical and mental disabilities! My super power will be to call out micro aggressions. Once the trigger bar is full I can unleash the cancel mob on my enemies!
These talentless activist at bioware really think putting too surgery scar in game that will garner some Twitter likes will translate to extra sales, huh? Or is this some strategy bioware will use to deflect when their game inevitably underperforms?
@@hawkins347 He thinks that when any has-been dev studio releases boring , uninspired slop , they always blame the funs for been racist ,sexist ets . @@Xagrate Indeed. Unfortunately, that’s the state of the game right now. It sucks but that’s what you get when you hire delusional trans creatures to work on your game.
BG3 also had some drama before its official release. Ultimately, what happened? Once the game turned out to be good, those who were biased against it disappeared completely
@@Code-Red424 There is one, but it makes such little difference it makes one wonder why they need the scars anyways. Barely anything to get rid of to begin with. Much like the glutes. You can tell making attractive characters were not a priority for this CC.
@@theworstcatholic7247 don't mind him...bro is in full damage control/cope mode over this game its always so obvious when people comment 100 times on the same video lol 🤣
Bad examples, one of those don't even have character creators. At least use a game that has a high degree of freedom in character customization like Black Desert Online. That game's character creator is basically just a simplified 3D Blender with a free playable game as a bonus.
This is by far the ugliest character creation in the last 10 years. Even the 7 years old character creation of Conan Exiles looks far way better then this. But cringest thing is... Plastic surgery scars in a fantasy game are probably the final stage. What's next? Cut d....? How can a company like BioWare, published by EA, even approve something like this? And then with an age rating of 16 years. That's sick...
From my point of view, this is looking better and better every time I see something new. The hair physics alone. I've never loved how Dragon Age games have played, so BioWare having this play like Mass Effect is perfect. I'm hoping they drop the character creator early.
@redcriminal7032 Of course. Look at a lot of the complaints, and it's all about what it isn't based on previous games, instead of the game it is on its own merits. I've seen enough, myself.
They realized just how much effort goes into the community sharing the characters so they made sure to design this creator with the most approachablity to that! CANT WAIT
@@En3ka_ because you're a global minority. The majority of the human population isn't white. So they don't need to cater to you people anymore in 2024. Now u know.
Conveniently skipped over the fact that trans age: the DEIguard literally has options for... breast removal surgery scars in the character creator. Don't buy or even promote this slop.
I mean, no one is forcing you to do it, it's just there for those trans people whom want to do it. Including an option does not immediately mean pandering, if they were required or something yeah that's make more sense but it's just an option.
@@arashu5436 Including it is also pandering as it is completely unnecessary to include gender reassignment surgery scars in a fantasy video game.... Nobody in their right mind wants or needs this type of political activism and agenda motivated options anywhere near their video games. Also it is a very clear indicator of what kind of extreme social justice activist types made the game. It is entirely reasonable for me to assume that their agendas completely encompasses and permeates the entire game, there are going to be trans character, non-binary characters, characters whose whole story is about their gender/sexuality identity etc. It is very very unlikely that this is limited to some options in the character creator.
I am looking forward to making my Rook. Some options I'm not all that interested in, and the beauty of it all is that I don't have to choose those. The whole game is a choice. I'm excited to play!
Sorry to say... but that character creator is sad... hell... dragon age origin's was sad... but at least had some difference between races... they were worth playing over
Firstly: love it, looks fantastic, cant wait to dive in and spend hours in it. However, looking at the last bit where it talks about putting in past decisions - only putting in decisions from inquisition and not origins or II? Minor effects on the story and can be skipped? Ive been frothing at the mouth for this game and everything looks amazing, but thats the first thing I've seen which has given me worry.
Does ur character that u create have voice line during all dialogue and cut scenes? Or just cut scenes? Or it's totally silent protagonist like starfield?
@Code-Red424 so does that make you feel better making fun of someone who's trying to get into the game and asking questions? I feel sorry for people like you. Not even help anyone but yourself do better and get good
Baldur’s Gate 3 character creation was pretty good. I mean it’s got way more options in terms of races and classes. Veilguard may have more options in terms of hairstyle, costume design and tribal tattoos, the game has like four races and three classes to choose from.
Just like in DnD. You won't get sweet esg score if your races are different. Everyone is the same you see. Hyper-intelligent orc, or gnome bodybuilder. No difference at all...
@@MalfunctioningAndroid Even though you always *could* make those characters still, it just meant they wouldn't be min-maxed, and that they were unique and had to go through extra challenges, both physical, mental and social. You know, actual good RP material. Instead it's "No we're all the same, except for that one group, you know the one, they're evil and always at fault! But it's okay to say that about them."
The people complaining about the surgery scars, really don't care, they just feel this toxic need to belittle other ppl, and proudly flaunt ignorance and hate... it's pretty sad tbh
Really want to play this game and am quietly optimistic about it the more I see of it. I loved DA Origins and DA Inquisition so much. I’m going to create the baddest Qunari possible and mess sh*t up 😂
Are you talking about in the trailer? Idk if you’re familiar with the lore but dwarves can’t be mages in this setting because of lore reasons. Recently some dwarves (as in two, the dwarf companion in this game being one of them, with a third being theorised) have begun to be able to use magical abilities and that is a significant event in the world. It’s going to be part of that characters storyline, not something we can play as in this game.
@roanc3709 you are aware Lace Harding can use magic in veilguard and I've seen a couple of article talking that they might evolve the lore to change that rule especially because the titans are waking up and why would they have the graphics of a dwarf holding a staff with mage armour on if they can't at some point use them it would be less time consuming and costly to just not show one.
We need to hope for a good Game ! Nothing more, nothing less ! Many want to keep the gameseries alife ! Dragon Age and Mass Effect had always different sights ! Only people that Never played the other Games can beat this much on a Game that is not released because of lgbtq or whatever !
Character creation looks good to me seriously a lot of people just love to hate theses days and there problem is that they don’t like change and i actually like the look of the qunari and can see better hair styles for the qunari
First, I don't like the art style. Second, while it is an in depth character creater, it isn't anything we haven't already seen before in many other games. Third, I cannot believe they got rid of the lineage attributes, that is part of what made Dragon Age cool and dare I say, immersive. Side note, I find it funny he took the time to talk about being able to change lighting conditions in the character creator, that has been standard for over a decade now. I kinda feel like he is getting paid to adveritise this game and was given talking points to put out in this video of his "unbias" opinion
@@KRistian87283 You do have lighting conditions in MHW. ER is a souls game, therefore it's CC is going to be bare bones, below the average, not a good example. That said it seems like the bust and glute sliders are about equal in this and ER. Which is not a compliment. So many options, yet so few are actually useful.
