9 Things Introverts Secretly Love 

As an Introvert myself, we are not that anti-social, actually I like talking to people, and hanging out with people I enjoy but after awhile I would feel really drained out and would need time to recharge.

The worst thing that happens to me often as an introvert is receiving a phone call that I'm not prepared for I usually never answer...I have to recollect myself and dial back. haha

The most dreaded words in school for an introvert are: "Everyone find a partner!"

A label should never define our true selves (yes, extroverted introverts like myself and extroverts who love spending time inside their mind exist)

As a introvert, I can say that I hate being an introvert. I'll be standing alone in the hallway, enjoying sweet solitude, and somebody will come up to me and ask, "Why are you so depressed?" That fucking annoys me. I'm like, "No, I'm not depressed, I just don't want to talk to you." Then they ask me why I'm in a bad mood. We're so misunderstood.

As an introvert, I LOVE staying at home, watching my favorite tv series on my laptop, read novels and drink tea. I just love being alone at home but I'm not anti-social, I'm just "selectively social". When I'm around people I'm not comfortable with, I pretend I don't exist to prevent unwanted awkward conversations but when I'm with my "people", I talk nonstop about random things. And oh yeah, when plans get cancelled... best feeling ever!!!

Things i love as an introvert: Eating lunch in my car where I can eat in peace without people trying to get your attention or talk to you/conversate even though you are CLEARLY wearing earphones & watching tv or listening to music!

I'm an introvert and I hate when people talk to me, especially when I'm in a lonely mood (like when I'm inspired to sing or draw, when I want to sit and do nothing...) and they never get the hint. And they may think you are angry with them but hey, I just want to be alone to stay with myself

I am always quiet and rarely talk to anyone at school, because they are always on groups. So I acctually like when someone comes to talk to me.

This video explains so much. I'm currently sitting on my bed covered in blankets watching videos, and I wouldn't want to be doing anything else right now.

The funny thing is that I really want my friends to invite me to a party...but when they do, I'm so anxious... And then, when they actually invite me but party is cancelled, that's when I feel like I have the perfect life!

My parents go to church every sunday morning. And I finally have the house to myself. Dear lord is that the best feeling in the world.

*Things that suck about being introverted AND/OR shy:* When someone asks you to go to a big party and you can't just say no so you end up (very reluctantly) going. When your teacher tells you to get in groups so you look around for your friends (if you have any) but their group is already full so you end up being the last one with no group and your teacher assigns it for you, to a group of people you don't like or don't know. When you ask to work alone, and your teacher says,"no". And then when your teacher questions why you always want to work alone meanwhile giving you their face of pity. When people see you sitting alone (like at lunch or something) and ask if you wanna sit with them. (Like it's nice a nice gesture and all but FUCK THT! Talking to a group of strangers without anyone you know...(shivers) When your friends are going on about some boring ass conversation that you can't follow and you're so tempted to just stick your headphones on and drown in the music. Meeting your friend's friends. When people tell you "Don't be shy" When people ask "Why are you always so quiet?" When you get caught trying to avoid conversing with someone. When you go to family dinners and you don't really get along with any family members your age so you just sit there at the dinner table with your headphones in. And then when you tell your parent "I don't wanna go to family dinners anymore." They force you to go even though they always make you feel awkward, bored, and like they're are a waste of time if your not having fun. Just me? Okay): When someone continuously tries to talk to you EVEN THOUGH you have your headphones on. (My mom does this ALL the time, omg it gets seriously annoying) When you get so pissed and yell profanities in the middle of a class (and really loud), then everyone looks at you, bewildered that you even spoke let alone yelled swear words. Actually this one I find funny. :D I love their shocked faces HA~! When you *want* to date someone but are too afraid to actually *go* on a date with ANYONE so you just give up on love (waves forever alone flag~) XD This last one might be just me but: When your forced to share your very personal (and very cheesy) feelings out loud to someone but once you do you get this feeling of disgust. Like your grossing yourself out. I think I'm much like a guy in sharing feelings and stuff. Ugh I hate it, it's disgusting. And I know it's bad to think that way, but eww.

When I see someone far off who I hardly know and I don't wanna have a convo with, I always walk the other way just to avoid them. This is usually a work colleague or someone who lives in the same neighbourhood as me. It's not that I hate them or anything, I just find it really annoying sometimes.

I'm a total introvert and this is so true. I hate parties and I'm relieved when they get cancelled. I like doing things with friends occasionally (movies, lunch etc.) but I hate group activities. It always ends with me being the silent one while the others are talking and then they'll proceed to assume I'm sad or that something is wrong just because I'm silent. "No stop it. I just don't feel like interrupting your conversation and I'm totally fine with just listening. What I'm not fine is your questions if 'everything is OK?' THAT'S the problem"

people always thought rain is for some sad or depressing situations, even complain about it so much. but i found it very calming and i feel happy 💕
