Come on, it happens. I had a best friend and absolutely everybody was asking us if we were not a couple or thinking on the other one as a potential partner and we were in absolute denial. "Nope, we do not have romantic feelings for each other". Twenty years latter I am here because our common daughter left this video opened in my RU-vid feed 😉
and buzzfeed has turned the tables and now pushing videos of their employees love lifes.. like it matters to people, oh wait 3.5mil views and counting!? f buzzfeed
1:29 woah this guy is totally irritated by them. I don't know why he's irritated or maybe he's trying her too maybe. I see a little jealous in his speech. Removing his speech I could see a total wholesome with everyone in the video
Fernando "he was doing all these projects about finding love and I thought to myself why is he using company resources to find love?" This guy would make a great manager.
And at BF people make videos for their interest/needs all the time. How many BF employees have done a room makeover? How many work out with a trainer? Not to mention all the travel for Lady Like or clothing at As Is and Lady Like.
Right. I noticed this a while back. Like they clearly been dating a while but Buzzfeed just been dragging it out for the views. And then this video obviously gonna drag in millions of views from people who want them together. Honestly I can’t hate... great marketing strategy.
Two things: I can’t believe they made a mini documentary about two coworkers love story Two: I also can’t believe I spent 18 minutes of my life watching it
"And people around the office wondered why is he using the company's resources to find love" "And the next thing you know they're f**king" GIVE THIS MAN HIS OWN SHOW ROFL
Normal boring job: “You two are in love? That is unprofessional... get over each other or get out.” Buzzfeed: “Are you guys in love yet? Let us know so that we can make a video!”
the company is like an overbearing parent who asks if you’re dating anyone every family dinner and tries to set you up with “a nice gentleman from work”
This is a romcom of its own nature in 2020s and we needed it. I'm kind of being hasty in the dating scene rn and this keeps me grounded to not rush things and there's gotta be someone out there who shares your quirks and complements it. Thanks Merle & Aria for sharing the journey!!
Mike Driggs I get the world can be like this. But you being rude because someone’s opinion doesn’t match yours is just disrespectful. If you are going to be negative about these two people’s future together take it somewhere else. Or at least say it in a nicer manner
Every other company: This is super unprofessional, we will need you to cut ties immediately with eachother or else you will both be terminated from your positions. Buzzfeed: Let’s make an 18-minute video announcing your relationship and interview literally everyone in the office about it.
livingkafkaesque i really dislike that. I mean just imagine the pressure they get to be all cutesy. it's a little distressing when you imagine that if they ever end things, they'll probably have to fake it so buzzfeed doesn't lose views. i wish they just respected their privacy.
actually, I think aria wanted to make this video. I'm pretty sure someone suggested this idea to him on instagram and he asked his manager if he could make it, around the end of last year or the beginning of this month? not sure, but I do recall the insta story. plus he produced and edited this lol
Hey there! Just wanted say thank you to everyone that has been so supportive of Merle and I over the past half year since we started appearing in videos together! I always thought there was something special between us, so it was nice knowing that many of you shared the same sentiment. Took her long enough to realize it though, eh?? Better late than never 🤷🏻♂️
Aria Inthavong I hope I find love like this. I need a job at buzzfeed pls. I can’t wait until the morning so I can tell my mum about this video. I’ve been keeping her up to date on it since the initial videos came out
That line about how Merle was in her season 1 and needed to go around and date but Aria was gonna be her season 3 guy is just the cutest thing I’ve ever heard 😭💕 we love a relationship that develops naturally and isn’t rushed
Basically he’s comparing their relationship to a tv show where during a 1st season the main character is figuring out their life, meeting new people, dating around but towards the end of the show (usually in later seasons) the main character finds the person they want to truly be with 😊
why am i crying at a buzzfeed video at 3 in the morning.. the end where he says "my first video was finding my soulmate in 48 hours, it took me longer than that but i finally got it done" goddamit im soft
"I don't have feelings" *"I don't have feelings"* **"I don't have feelings"** ***"I DON'T have FEELINGS"*** "Okay, I have feelings." Everyone else: "yea, we knew."
More so that love requires work and commitment and sometimes people either don't know that or forget it or get distracted and they don't nurture their love and so they lose it.
This is really a simple boy meets girl story, made complicated because they just don't admit one another. And also good job Aria and in making use of BuzzFeed money for love, vacation etc.
Hi Friends! Thanks for the outpour of love these past couple of days (and 5 or 6 months). I'm impressed that so many of you were able to spot the spark between us before I even did. Both Aria and I spent time on ourselves, figuring out what we wanted, before we found each other. So, for those of you stressing about being single, be patient and follow the things that bring you joy. Who knows, one day a wildly romantic man that screams at the sky may show up at your doorstep, crazier things have happened 👀
I’m so happy for you guys. For my husband and I it was love at first sight, over 13 years ago...my heart literally skipped a beat. May you both always CHOOSE LOVE 💜💜💜
