Had an 88 & a 81. The 88's body style grew on me, at 1st I really liked the square body best. Both are classics for sure, gotta love the Chevy short wides!

It’s amazing that all those truck owners know how to read a tape measure and the tires and wheels don’t stick out 5” past the body. And they all look amazing!!!

Iv got 90s Silverado I believe on a trailer bed convert.not sure exact model but has 203-75R15 5 lug do you have any Idea largest rim tire setup I could go there’s a ton of room.
Aye bro do you think the 275/60/15 tires and wheels will look good on my 91? I wanna make it look like a 454ss truck and it has the 275 tires and wheels on it.. should I put some chrome on the black paint or black steelies like yours?
Well bro i thunk the black would look clean muscle status but the chrome will stand out ...you wont go wrong with either or ...yea it should look clean thats what the 454ss have your right
I like how the body is dinged up but theirs no rust on it. It's Kinda neat in my opinion. Just, whatever you do, please, do not LS swap it. The 2nd Gen 350 EFI motor has endless customizing options unlike the 1st Gen Vortec 350. It's even worse for the late 99 to 07 327 C.I. Vortec. The 2nd Gen 350 is basically an old style 350 with a EFI bowl for a carburetor and removable emission parts. What I find hilarious and overly ironic is that It was GM's worst V8 setup ever made. It was basically GM's failed attempt at making a fuel efficient 90's V8. But, easily fixable. You can make them pump out more torque and horsepower than the Vortec's ever thought of.
@@cuenta2202 the 87-95 TBI system is really nothing more than a old style V8 block with a electronic intake system and very restricted cylinder heads and exhaust. You can do anything you want to it. As long as the parts fit the application of course. To "wake up" a TBI with minimal effort and cost. Put an aftermarket manifold-back exhaust system on it.
Bad ass truck man. I just picked up a 97. Looking to do a 3/5 or 4/6 on it. Just can't decide on the right tire size to make sure there's no rubbing. What's the purpose of the fender rolling? Is it hard to do?
Fender rolling, get a baseball bat put it in between ur front wheel (tire) and start rolling back n forth at an angle,to bend upward the inner lips of the fenders it's easy,I dropped G-pas old retired fieldworker obs Silverado truck and I have a 4/6 drop,had a 5/7 drop,it was too low kept bottoming out,the frame an upper A-arm were about a 2inch gap if ur gonna do freeway driving go with a 3/5 drop,for the front use a 2inch drop spindle with a 1 inch drop coil,or a 3 inch drop drop coil an stock spindle,but a 3 inch drop coil can with stock spindle can give ur front wheels that slight butterfly cambor tilt,around town,drop her 4/6,and learn the roads and slow down around bumps
Also did you have to upgrade your rotors and stuff when you did your drop? I've been told that the 88-91 reg cab 2wd's have different spindles and rotors then 92-98 reg cab 2wd and 88-98 extended cabs.
245/60/15 front 295/50/15 rear both are the same exact height if you have them side by side..thats what i was looking for tho ...if i had the 295/60/15 it was going to be abit taller in height from the front

Thanks for the reply, I ended up buying them at summit they are Bart D Window Wheels and the little purple sticker comes right off to make them all black. I'm just saving up to buy the drop kit now.
