This prenup is almost moot with a K1 visa, since he’s responsible for her for 10 years regardless. If Bilal and his ex are really that concerned about handing down wealth to their children, they should create a legal trust for their kids. They should be smart enough to get lawyers to do this, and Shaeda doesn’t need to be involved.

The more I watch Shaeeda, the more she gains my respect & sympathy for her, this dude Bilal better steps up his game before someone else will snatch her from him!

The ex wife overstepping her boundaries was authorized by Bilal. I feel that it was a move to kind of insist or bully Shaeeda in signing the prenup. Even if the ex wanted to speak to her about the importance or how signing the prenup impacts her children, there was a way to go about it. She started the conversation a little hostile for no reason. It was like to say, You better sign it! Shaeeda is way too good and nice of person for this, but something tells me she needs to open her eyes to these signs, life with Bilal will be miserable and constantly under a form of dictatorship where she will have to answer to him, his mother, his sister, the ex, and anyone else other than herself that Bilal respects.

Okay firstly: From a legal standpoint he coerced her into a prenup so nothing they sign will stand up in court at this point even if they revise it. He never got her her own lawyer, it wasn’t mutually agreed upon, and he’s literally documented the coercion on this show. Next, no one outside of the relationship should be discussing these things and the ex came at Sha really agressively for no reason.

Super weird to hear that coming from the ex-wife. Isn't she the one who burned Bilal? It's like, hey, I screwed him over but I want to make sure no one else does. Her kids are her business, but her ex and his relationship are not! If they are worried about the kids future so much, set up a fund for them and no one will be able to touch that money. My concern is that whatever Shai builds together with Bilal will be taken from her as well and she will be left with nothing. Nobody is offering her an alternative solution at this point.

I was bullied into signing a prenup 3 days before our wedding. It was my husband's brother who called us and literally made my husband and I cry on the phone. I signed some random template one. I asked him to include something about cheating (physical or emotional) would make the prenup null and void. I wasn't after my husband's money so I didn't care, I signed it. I also was reminding my husband to get the prenup thing started 1 year before the wedding, 6 months before the weeding, 3 months before the wedding, because I care about him AND I know he's a procrastinator AND laywers on BOTH sides would need time to review everything before signing. I signed it anyway in his car. The brother said, "If you don't sign it, you won't like what's about to happen" (meaning the wedding will be cancelled 3 days before the day). I found out later that prenups (or any contract) signed under duress are already null and void be default. My dear, sweet husband is regularly bullied, manipulated, guilted by his older brother, Mother, and Father. He's getting better at standing up for himself with me by his side. But he's still pretty much their slave. Instead of 100% of the time, I got the ratio down to 70% of the time. The other 30% he's able to be a normal human being with his own life.
