There are so many people who cannot remember a card not matter how much you emphasise that they must remember the card. How could he confuse the Five of Spades with the Jack of Spades?
That's one thing I don't like about his performances... he keeps telling his audience "I'm shuffling, you know this is fair." But at the end of the day, he is one of the most successful card magicians ever, so props to him.
