@@silverletter4551 While the companies are mostly corrupt and bad, the real issue is the law and how it works for civil court. Simply put any one can sue any one but only the rich have the money to throw at lengthy court cases and to hire private investigators and such to find evidence they need to win. Or you know just make it up... In the case of many Terms of Service they won't actually hold up in court. However the average consumer does not have thousands of dollars to fight a court case over a $50 video game or a $20 toaster that burned their house down. The best most buyers can hope for is a settlement. If the case is bad enough a company might pay you to keep the issue quiet, but no matter the mountain of evidence you'd likely never win out right in court. Or if you did it would cost so much it would never be worth it.

Even my TV asks me to agree to terms and conditions whenever it updates... the internet age is dumb.

Honestly that is actually factually true. The coronavirus has been going on for quite some time butin all seriousness it's not as dangerous as the media is making it out to be. It's just that people are scared of it because they don't know much about it. For perspective I actually did some research and found in the same amount of time the flu has killed at least 100 times more people than a coronavirus but nobody talks about that because the flu is an every year thing. And yes seriously Raid Shadow Legends is the biggest virus in the world. They paid to advertiseon RU-vid ad space before, during, and after videos and they pay RU-vid channels to have them advertised that gameand as a result even those with ad blocker see those ads because it's part of the video itself and therefore millions of people see the ad and for sure Raid Shadow Legend is the most infectious virus in the world!

To be fair, alot of those strange calls don't leave messages so it's pretty justified.

They are using spoofed numbers. It's not the one they are calling from. You are blocking some random person's number, who hopefully will never need to call you, like the HR desk at some company you apply to.

@@Jarsia When you answer the phone, your phone number gets listed as a 'live' number. That means they will call back (probably from a new spoofed number), knowing that their is a person using the line that will pick up, so at least they will get the chance to rattling off their speel, so at least one step closer to making a sale. They will then sell their phone list to other scammers, with yours being worth more because it's 'live'. Congratulations, you are making other scammers want to call you more by picking up the phone for unknown numbers. Legit people will leave a message.
