Auch wenn ich wieder morgen um viertel 6 wieder aufstehen muss, höre ich noch schnell in den Verurteilten-Soundtrack rein. Auf jedenfall ein super Film von dem ich gar nicht wusste, daß es einen Soundtrack gibt. Aber bloß weil man in den 90ern aufgewachsen ist, muss man nicht die Musik gleich mögen. Ich bin in den 00er-Jahren aufgewachsen und tu es immer noch in den 10er-Jahren aber ich kann ich nicht sagen, daß ich aktuelle Musik gerne höre. Eher das Gegenteil. Darum bin ich für mehr 70er-Videos!
Ich stehe auch um viertel vor 6 auf ;) Jedes Jahrzehnt hat seine Momente. Ich gebe Dir aber schon recht. Keine Zeit hatte eine so starke Aufbruchsstimmung wie die Jahre 1965 bis 1975. Dennoch: Auch die 90er Jahre haben enorm viel zu bieten. Es ist DAS Jahrzehnt der elektronischen Musik, Hip Hop und der konsequenten Weiterentwicklung von Alternative Rock, Grunge usw. Ich bin musikalisch irgendwann 2005 ausgestiegen. Von da an interessiert mich aktuellere Musik so gut wie gar nicht. Populäre sowieso nicht. Danke für's reinschauen! Armien
I have an original Mad season pressing. Very rare. I also have a huge Sub POP cd collection. back in the 90"s they used to have a mailing list and they use to send me every new cd release. My German friends in Heidelberg use to go crazy for those releases. Great memories!

Movies on vinyl editions are excellent. I love Shawshank and Forrest Gump, classic, classic films. I have a copy of Gump's on red white and blue vinyl. However, the white vinyl had a chip on one edge but it did not affect play. MOV are high quality pressings. When I think of MTV unplugged in the 90s I certainly think of AIC and Nirvana but also Eric Clapton, Queensryche, Kiss and one more not on MTV but a classic 'unplugged' concert Tesla Five Man Acoustical Jam. Thanks for givin' a little love to the 90s!
I saw some pics of the US pressing of Forrest Gump OST and I have to say that it looks stunning. Yes, there are so many good unplugged concerts. Eric Clapton is another favorite of mine. Thanks for watching, Corey!
Cool 90s update, Armien :) I still need to get that Slowdive on vinyl, just have it on cd, but it's my most overplayed shoegaze release, ahah. recently got that Afghan Whigs on vinyl, the black friday release with the demos, Faded is one of my fav songs by them. I've got Mad Season, too. need to play that again soon, really good stuff! did you hear about the new Mark Lanegan album coming out? I preordered that... knew his solo stuff then his collaborations with Greg Dulli on later projects before the past stuff, still don't have any Screaming Trees, ahah.

Love the 90s music, I get excited when I see the albums I loved get issued (or reissued) on vinyl. I overpaid for The Cardigans' "Long Gone Before Daylight" Record Store Day release because I was afraid I'd miss out on it. Such an underrated band.
Oh yes! The cardigans are one of my favorite 90s bands. There has been so many discussions with the band about reissues of all the 90s titles. The band wants to bring them all but universal sweden is still taking their time. To my mind it's just a question of time until they will be available again. Specially Gran Tourimso has been on my want list since years.
AudiophileLaws right! They said on Facebook all of their albums would be issued on vinyl. I love them. It's sad that most people only seem to know Lovefool, because they really grew from a pop band after that. I suppose people do know their song from Gran Turismo, but I'd bet they don't know it's the Cardigans.
Hey man, could you make a video of anti-skate adjustment on that satisfy tonearm. I've got an emotion turntable with the same tonearm and this magnetic sistem just doesn't seem to work. I've adjusted everything else on the turntable(level, vta, azimuth) but can only make the antiskate to push/pull the stylus into certain position on the record, not compensating the inward pulling force to keep the stylus in any position on the record (blank record i mean). Would be super helpful. Cheers
Solid 90's additions to the collection! I agree with you, both of those MOV Alice in Chains pressings sound amazing! I was fortunate to find an original pressing of Surfacing, 200 g too I think, and it sounds amazing. I also am building a solid 90's collection, so always look forward to your videos to see what you've got and what I'm missing. Were you able to pick up the reissues of Everclear last year? Another 90's grunge group TAD just re-released their Sub pop collection. "8 Way Santa" & "God's Balls" are awesome. If you can also find their greatest album "Inhaler" on vinyl, you should pick that up too.
+blachubear oh yes! They are one of my favorite bands of the Seattle grunge era. I got gods balls and 8 way santa as original pressings. Still miss inhaler.
I hope Sub Pop will get the rights to "Inhaler" so they can put it out on vinyl. You should check out their documentary "Busted Circuits & Ringing Ears", it's on You Tube.
Jealous of that Alice in Chains! Great pickup. I am deeply saddened in that I won't be able to see Alice in Chains perform with their original lineup in my lifetime.
I have some from Music on Vinyl...And some of them sound like Cheap, and absolutley a Rip-Off....Sorry, my Opinion....Alwas try to find the Original pressing. In other way, i like your Videos ;-)
