C4 Corvette Window Guide InstalI f your having a issue were the front of your window of your c4 corvette is coming up higher than it should and causing the back top corner of the window to go back futher than it should and make contact with the halo when you shut the door this video might help with your problem. Watched this and then mustered the courage to tackle this project on my driver side window on my 93 C4. Amazingly the job went along smoothly with no hiccups and now my window is good as new , thanks for the video as it helped a lot.

Thanks! I think I know where my extra piece came from now! My window guide was busted to pieces and the metal center ring fell out into the door. I had been trying to put that dang thing into the window with the circle nut and new guide and it wouldn't bolt in! My window is perfect now, up and down smooth and no banging the A frame when the door is shut... Appreciate it.

Cris.... was the 96 much different? I pulled my door apart and replaced the guide back in 2020 but still have the tilting window issue. I need to pull the door again and see if maybe the new guide broke again from bad placement or something. It is my weekend car, so I haven't worried but it drives me crazy because i can't close the door with the window fully up.

Great video and it was very helpful, I am working on the same issue with my 1993 Corvette and the problem is the plate on the back side of the window spins when I try to remove the screw (bolt) that hold the guide in place, did you run into this problem? Thanks

I had to grab onto the back plate with vice grips along the circumference and then loosen the bolt, and it worked, You can also use a tool called a spanner tool. @@tinkeringjoeVA
