98 99 issue with power mirrors, radio, dome light. 

You my man are straight up the best thing that has ever happened I've been trying through hell and back to see what fuse follow the same directions you follow this and that except I didn't actually go all the way through with it and I just want to thank you from the bottom of my heart you are the best

You saved me!!! I had the same problem and not having a manual for my 99 I had no idea what IOD was. Pulled it after watching you and there it was. Blown! Replaced it and now everything is great! Thanks again...

My man! I've been tearing my hair out over this exact issue on the 98 I just picked up, and no owner's manual of course. Soon as I watched this video I ran back out to the truck and checked that fuse and sure enough, she was blown. Swapped it out and now all that stuff works again! Thanks man!

I had the same exact problems as this guy, and i finally traced all the wires to a wire harness under the drivers seat, they have obviously been arcing and sparking for quiet some time, i even kept constantly blowing my IDO fuse, so anyway how i fixed my problem was to cut out the previous mentioned wire harness (under drivers seat) and replace it with 2 - 4way trailer harnesses in its place. Problem solved, been perfect for at least 8 months now.

Very helpful video. I was installing my radio and touched what I thought was the ground and it made my dome lights not workand heard a pop sound from fuse box. Didn't check the mirrors. But radio was not getting power from battery wire. I think that when I touched the wire it blew the fuse. Will check this tomorrow. Thank you for making this video

This was the exact problem I was having on my 2000 2500 I checked all the damn fuses like you had an even checked that same one that wound up being the problem and it looked fine, so I just replaced it with a new one and sure shit that was it! Great I haven’t tried but I know that will fix my radio and dome lights, I replaced the power seat and I had to splice all the wires and I thought I popped a fuse. I’m going to check it right now but I’m sure that’s it. Thanks again

had to locate the dome fuse as I needed to dry out the inside of the cab of rain water with the doors open..thanks

IOD FUSE is the transport fuse, it is for transporting vehicles, they pull that fuse to the dome light the radio cannot drain the battery and transport if somebody leaves the door open, Etc
