My Mom worked for a well known child psychologist. A child was raped by a paedophile and a young guy was convicted. The idiotic judge ordered him mandatory counseling by my Mom’s boss and then to join the military. After one session of counseling my Mom’s boss took it upon himself to object in court the sentencing. He told the judge the facts in that there is no cure for paedophilia. He lost the case! Off to the military. He comes home right after boot camp and commits a worse crime by stealing a little girl out of her bedroom in the middle of the night. After a few days she was found unalived on the river bank. The state had the nerve to ask my Mom’s boss to testify on the perps behalf. He told them that he would testify but they weren’t going to like what he had to say. Thankfully the perp got the death penalty.

What exactly is this trend with using the word unalive? Is it suppose to soften the blow of death? Like, ok you're simply in another reality now, no big deal or what? Or should I google this nonsense?

that's so terrible to hear. terrible judge. going to the military is NOT what these types of predators need, predators thrive in the military. they become more disconnected from humanity and are thrust into a position/feeling of power. so many horror stories of rapes committed by US forces in Iraq, Afghanistan, any country we've invaded. why wouldn't a psychopath/sociopath want to join the military?

He's a very confused boy with mom issues. I suspect there is little or no love between them. He is trying to individuate by leaving his parents' home (in his imagination)... but he's already committed very serious crimes, and as Mr Rivers says, the bus has left and is on its way.

My 86 year old grandmother was murdered and raped in 1978. It was a cold case until 1996 when a jailhouse confession made by a local young friend of our family, someone who I grew up with, reopened the case. He was finally covicted.

My favorite story about the phrase, "Not Bloody Likely," has to do Princess Anne, the Princess Royal, who is the daughter of Queen Elizabeth, II and Prince Philip. She was on her way to Buckingham Palace, when a car blocked their way, her protection officer got out of the car and was shot several times. Even then, the officer tried to protect the Princess. Long story short, the idiot would-be kidnapper told her to get out and come with him. Her kick @ss response? "Not Bloody Likely." Love that woman!

@healgoth 2 месяца назад
“Disrespectful” not rude… some parents SAY respect when they mean complete control, total obedience, blind loyalty… She couldn’t care less that he thinks… his parents being his caregivers makes him a burden as a child, he causes them constant heartbreak, has “honestly probably never made either of them proud” and even to the extent that he hasn’t done ANYTHING good… the only issue she has with any of that being said about her and her husband as legal guardians of the child speaking is that he dropped an f bomb in that last thing he said. The F bomb was the only thing notable in that screed and her issue was about “respect”?! No way, it was definitely about control. She doesn’t dispute any of his negative self talk or beliefs about his family but she does demand he phrase it differently so she doesn’t look like the kind of parent who lets her child cuss in public 🙄

I’m a proponent for the DPenalty when there is solid evidence bc people that do stuff like this rarely truly change. Why waste tax payer money on someone who took a life. Give them their day in court and be done with them after appeals have been exhausted. And I mean more than just one kind of evidence. So dna plus cell phone tracking or video footage or anything that is verifiable besides witness testimony since that’s sketchy when it comes to human memory. So let’s say DNA blood and fingerprint tho AND location data, that’s enough for me. Always wonder what people from countries without DPenalty think about us having here in the states. Since it’s been what 20+ years since it was a thing in Canada I’m sure most people don’t remember what it was like to have it.

The mother is the problem here. She is acting appalled and shocked about the crimes, the 98 year old woman, stranger danger issues it’s all fake emotion. Her son is balling his eyes out, literally suffering and agonizing over how much trouble he has been in and no hug no attempt to console him not an ounce of maternal care from mom. She is a psychopath and her son is as well. Listen to the mom say “oh my god, a 98 year old woman…” complete feigned outrage.

My whole childhood I was a good, never got into any trouble. Same with my sisters. I was (still am) very close with my mom but terrified of her if I did anything bad. She knew everything about me and my every step. I had room to mess up and she was always teaching me and always kind but I didn’t dare do anything bad. Sometimes I wish I pushed the limits a little just for fun but I’m so grateful for how I was raised. My mom often feels guilty for raising us the way she did because she feels she was too harsh or strict. But my sisters and I thank her often and reassure her that she was a great mom. Especially when we see our childhood friends living completely different hard lives. I wish they had a mom like I have.

The cop placed a vhs tape in front of me and said it’s on camera & if you’re honest it’ll go better for you. So I admitted everything! That’s what got me arrested and a weekend in jail!
