From what I've seen, they generally have higher sodium, but it's hard to say that that makes them worse because Impossible Burgers also have no cholesterol, higher protein etc. You can't really determine whether or not it's healthier just based on the macros because it's difficult to compare protein to fat to cholesterol etc. How would you go about judging, for example, if 2% more protein is better than 2% less sodium? The other issue that's come up with Impossible Burgers is apparently they contain an abnormally high level of glyphosate, a herbicide that can sometimes be found in trace amounts on/in food products (for obvious reasons, herbicides are often used in farming plant-based foods). It has been claimed that glyphosate is significantly carcinogenic, although this is contested, and you're claiming that Impossible Burgers are "way worse" than beef, even though beef burgers are a Group 2A carcinogen, meaning they are seen as likely to cause cancer in humans, the same as glyphosate but even less contested. Not only is the link between glyphosate and cancer weaker than that of beef patties, the initial claim that Impossible Burgers contain abnormally high levels of glyphosate seems to be false (it was apparently based on comparing a 100g sample taken from a burger served in a restaurant to a full, store-bought, uncontaminated Beyond Burger patty), and Impossible Foods have provided their own data which suggests their glyphosate levels are well below the significant risk levels set by regulatory bodies. You might be correct, but only if more research comes out that coincidentally supports what you currently believe without substantiation. I can't really prove that what you're saying is wrong, nutrition and cancer are both way too complex for that and I am definitely not an expert in either, but I'm pretty confident that you are wrong to present it as a fact when, in reality, it seems unlikely that Impossible Burgers are less healthy than beef patties. Also, I'm pretty sure Stanz is a vegetarian, and if you care about harm to animals, you should be buying non-meat products. I understand that some people are anti-GMO, so think Beyond Burgers are better than Impossible Burgers, but I don't think there's anywhere near enough evidence supporting that position to suggest you shouldn't eat Impossible Burgers.
