As someone who has a dining table, it's basically pointless to me. I live alone, and I usually just eat in my office. I have the living room for chilling, kitchen for cooking, bedroom for sleeping, and my office for my pc, bookshelves, and music stuff. I can use the dining table for projects and such, but mostly it just sits there and looks pretty. Maybe it would be nice if I had a family or something, but I'm 23, live alone, rarely have people over, and I eat at my desk
