A ’72 Marquis doesn’t seem like a typical muscle build, but the Detroit Muscle guys have some big plans. Monster horsepower, chassis mods, and plenty of performance goodies will take this land yacht to a new level!
I love watching powernation I'm disabled so I'm not able to do that kind of work but I sure do love to watch it and dream about having a built car or truck
I have one leg and I won 2 National titles road racing, with a hand control. I am building a drag car right now. Granted, I have a lot of pain, I'm in a wheelchair right now giving my stump a rest , but I have a fake leg too. I ask my friends that are down on themselves to look in the mirror and ask them "Do you see the person you want to be?" ff not do something to change it. I go to the gym 3 or 4 days a week. For me the gym was a game changer. I never really noticed but there are a lot of wheelchairs rolling through the gym. Cheers!
Back in 6970 and 71 you had the finest Mercury's the Marquee was your luxury version but the marauder was the venomous version and it would just romp and stomp Cadillacs
Love this car , would love to drive it . Two simple opinions, just opinions. The hole in the hood , there were no other options? The wheels , there were no other options? Really cool build guys , will always enjoy this.
Straight up pimpin! 😂 My Mother drove one new. 429 c.i. beast. 🎉 I can't believe you clowns cut that virgin hood! 😢 A Teardrop scoop would work! Think!
What's wich the reupload? Also at 17:33 Just hear how hard the engine is working and how slow it's accelerating for a 754 HP. It's such a massive waste to make such a big and powerful engine and then connect it to a 3-speed gearbox. Put a modern 8-speed or 10-speed, and it will be something different.
1100 horsepower no,... not without nitrous, or 15:1 compression. Big Pimpin! that's what I'd call this build. I like how you moved the trans crossmember. If you don't want the engine to be torque twisting I'd install a Mid Plate. The air cleaner really looks cheap poking out of the hood, because It Really Looks Cheap! I'd install a drop air cleaner. This was going to be a classic Powernation build...until I saw the saw in your hand. What were you two thinking?
Didn't they also want to do something to the brakes? (at 5:00 min) it's exactly the same as before, for 200 HP. Really dangerous and also botched..., sorry...
