When in the RAMC I was tasked to get water samples from a river that was a border between Honduras and Guatemala, there were reports of tampering with the water supply. I and a pilot flew tactically in a Gazelle to a persons field beside the river, the owner took me to the middle of the river to collect some samples and then we flew back to our base. It was quite exciting.
New A29 version is available with working FLIR that has tracking, only lasing is needed now. Edit: new cockpit textures and prop animation are in this new version too, it has better visibility too since the cockpit has had changed geometry too.
@@pierrelahaie6359 the super tucano M3 shoots so much faster it's like having 4-6 M2 from a p51, but since the RPM is faster your have a higher chance to hit and cause more damage, so don't bother comparing the number of them cause it's useless when you have guns that fire at 400 rpm compared to 1200 rpm
And Cap said the most British thing I have ever heard him say. I have time to finish my tea. I swear that line needs either the royal grenadiers march or the men of harlech singing behind him saying that.
I fell in love with the Su-57 Felon a week ago or so and i watched all your vids with it and can't help but want more. I also have to thank that jet for finding your amazing channel keep up the amazing work and vids they're very entertaining
It would be interesting to watch the video: "Could Super Tucano Penetrate & Destroy The 40 Mile Long Russian Convoy At Kyiv?" In 2019, Ukraine was interested in purchasing these aircraft. I wonder how they would show themselves.
For information only but for me, the changing of the bell icon has changed nothing, I am not getting the notifications before or after. No idea why. Cheers
@@grimreapers This map, certainly the area Covering The Turkish Republic of Norther Cyprus (the north bit after the 1974 war between Turkey and Greece) is an accurate simulation but spans several decades, it features hotels built withing the last five years but also some structure that no longer exist and haven't for decades.
I heard a story that in the 1980s the US Army and US Airforce did an excersise where they opposed each other. US Army vs US Airforce and apparently the Army beat the Airforce. Anyone else here this? Is this true?
A cool video idea for you... for the not-actually-a-pilot-in-real-life Grim Reapers... please go to a commercial airline flight sim and give it a crack at take off, flying and landing... see how things translate over from game to real world.
Tucano's boresight cross is off by a lot, or the guns are pointing in the wrong direction. That gunsight isn't good for much but at least the line is there to get your shots in plane easier.
I need to say, iam quite surprised about the community planes in DCS compared to the one from MSFS. Is it more difficult to create them in DCS? They look a bit "rough"
Why is it my snit-virus goes nuts when i try to download DCS. From your videos this is my perfect game, but it keeps getting flagged as dangerous content.
@@grimreapers Only because a planet is so massive. You can pick up a car with a magnet the size of a car, but you'd need a planet with more mass than the earth to pick up the car with gravity.
The army and Air Force did something similar and found helicopters would beat fighters in low altitude fights if properly equipped for air to air. The fighters couldn’t get locks because the helos were too low and the fighters were too exposed en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/J-CATCH
