A 48 hour lake exclusive on Stubby leas before it closes as a day ticket fishery. 

Soon after booking up for this 48hr lake exclusive we discovered through social media that stubby leas was turning into a syndicate water, It seemed to focus my mind on getting the most of this session with preparing my gear and bait better than I'd ever done before. I tend to be more relaxed on my build up to a session with most of my rigs being fine tuned on the day although this time I'd done all my hook sharpening in advance with the exception of my chod rig. Pva bags were all ready to go, boat batteries charged, powerbanks, solar panel and everything else all ship shape.
The six of us drew from a hat to keep the choosing of swims fair. There are eight pegs on Stubbys but we crossed two corner pegs off. Peg 1 is very cut off with very limited water, peg 4 also seemed a little cut off.
Most of us had rods out before mid day although i wasn't 100% happy with my thoughts on where my left hand rod should be, hence that one not being in the water until later in the afternoon.
Okay it's time to sit back, watch the water, relax and see how this lake exclusive pans out.
