G'day lads.. I have coolant pissing out between the diesel pump Timing cover and the head.. It doesn't make sense to me because it's oil splashed from the chain?? There's not traces of oil and coolant mixing either??

Timing cover backing plate corroded. Had to pull engine to get that off.

What is the fully rebuilt cost. Like new pistons and rings and polishing crankshaft and new good head. Any roughly idea???

You guys seen a 4jj1 crack a piston/break a ring land etc? i got my modified 4J i need to pull down soon no3 cyl looking into the turbo manifold very oily, the rest dry but not running rough or knocking just had started to smoke.

Is this common after an intake manifold clean? With the amount of carbon on mine after 200k km i couldnt see any way they could back out.
