@@MFBloosh Honestly, steelers won with Kenny Pickett and Mason Rudolph. Russ is better than both of them combined, so there should be no issue. We could easily get 12-13 wins as long as our defense lives up to the expectations of everyone. The only problem is our oline and we need to get another decent reciever.

Coming from a Ravens fan, I know the Steelers have had Baltimore's number in recent memory but I think the Steelers are in a situation where they need the guy of the future but don't have the time to get someone and develop them. Russ might be past his prime but it makes sense to get him and to put Fields or some other young QB on the back burner for a bit to get them ready to take the reigns after Russ's contract ends. This division has Lamar, Burrow and Miles Garrett. Steelers have a decent Defense and TJ Watt but they have to take a few wide swings to keep pace with everyone else especially on Offense.

We hired Sean Payton, did you really thought he's some amazing coach like Andy Reid and that he knows what he's doing? Man is below avg. coach, he had 1 amazing season as 2nd year coach and he won SB because he was lucky with on side kick call (we saw how that fired back with Broncos), but that was mostly because he had Breese, he had Breese at his prime and he missed playoff in 6 seasons. Bill missed playoff with Brady only once, All Manning's coaches missed playoff once with him in his rookie season, Packers missed playoff with Rodgers only 3x (his first season as starter, his last season with Packers and 2018), basically 1x at his prime. Breese could go toe to toe with those QBs, but somehow Sean couldn't get them to playoff. And Saints always had good roster, it's not like they were 2-14 in those seasons, 4x they were 7-9, which tells you it's about coach. What was record of Broncos last year, 8-9 right? And how many games Payton blew? I'll say 6, 2x Raiders, Patriots, Redskins, Lions and Texans. I don't even blaim him for Dolphins game, because it was collective collapse.

Fields was not a good QB any year he played. He has like a good 3 games and people only talked about those as opposed to how bad he was at avoiding sacks, how he lost games in crunch time, and how inaccurate and slow at making reads he was.
