No intention to fight, just wanna add a bit of info about some of your points: - Every card game does. The quicker you accept that, less unnecessarily frustrated you will be (accept and play it, or accept and dont play it); - True; - True; - True, but easily solvable changing settings on options menu; - True, at least when we talk about competitive strategies; - Kinda true (but debatable, cause grind could be or not enjoyable, depending how much you like the game and the time you have for it); - Some sets warp the meta so heavily, then anything from before it cant stand a chance. But usually you can still find a place for most of the leggos you crafted (And dust still is an option) - Yes, Unlimited is the home of all degenerate stuff in the game (Atomy, D-Shift, Hozumi, Handless, etc.). Still tho, is not impossible find fun in the format, if you are crazy enough to experiment the chaos there. For the best or worst, meta is mostly stable there, and some of the staple decks there are pretty cheap to assemble

So it's basically like yu-gi-oh master duel. My only concern is the grind to stay competitive part. There are other games I wanna play. I wanna immerse myself in the game as f2p, but not to the point of burnout. Is it possible, like in master duel, to just invest in one high quality deck archetype? I might build a second deck eventually, but I don't wanna feel like I can't play the game unless I grind at nauseum. And I don't wanna feel pressured to build every type of deck to keep up either.

@@milmil5350 -unlike in yugioh there are no real arch types or mix decking like ishizu-tear. -you have 8 classes but you can only play them pure or mixed with neutral cards that every class can use. -a new set is released every 3 months and classes arent evenly represented in each set. (you can end up with a new set that has barely any to no usable cards for the class you want to play while other classes get several strong supports) -rotation format which is the most played as well as the most competitive restricts the card pool to the 5 latest sets. meaning you have to update the decks you play every 3 months while losing part of your usable card pool. so you either have to play every day for hours or heavily restrict yourself on the number of classes you can play each rotation.

@@milmil5350 A friend of mine usually just stick to one or two class and he hardly do matches, all he did was login and get rewards and he can keep up with any expansion easily, so you don't need to grind so hard just simply login and its good enough.

Compared to other digital TCG games as f2p player I can say that grinding in this game is not that harsh compared to others You can stay competitive and by time your collection will grow by itself and you don't have to worry each patch. Since you will have more than enough vials to craft top tier deck each patch. I played since fortune hand expansion, never spent any peny in the game and manage to build 3-4 competitive deck each patch after the DoC since I managed to get GM on that patch But I agree with your other statements, balance team need to work better. Whenever new patch arrive, it always dominated by 1 deck and it need 1 week or more for the dev team to nerf that deck, and after that it will end up by just having 2-3 top tier deck that we fight again and again

​@@GiovanniDthey need to explain what they're experiencing. I could offer so much assistance. I already helped a friend start the story from the actual beginning, the new story mode options caused him to start with laincrest after the prologue beginner mode....

I've been playing free my entire life besides bare minimum things I need or want alot is free I'd you participate in all the events and daily stuff and daily log in. I'm still using items I won from past events and earning tons of gold to use on return card pack events to this day!😊
