Matindi competition ngayon para sa trabaho bilang Bilingual Spanish agent. Gusto ko lang i share experience ko. More than 6 years of working as a Spanish Speaking Process Expert, it really helps a lot if you continue to improve your language skills. Practice and immerse yourself. Because of the pandemic most companies now prefer to hire Filipinos and if ever they hire foreigners most would ask for the permanent visa status at hindi tourist visa kaya may edge pa rin tayong mga pinoy kaya huwag kayo mawalan ng pag asa. Good luck sa inyong lahat

Tama po yan. Tough po ang competition and we Filipinos have advantage. Pero kailangan talaga po nating maging as fluent as we can be like what you said para mas may chance po tayo. Thank you po ulit for sharing this. Malaking tulong sa mga kapwa Filipino learners natin. Have a great day and stay safe po tayo :)

The government should consider adding Spanish as a core subject into the K-12 curriculum where it has to be taught starting kindergarten until college level if the intention is to produce at least one million B2-level Filipino Spanish language speakers competent enough to be hired to the entry-level Spanish language CSR job positions.

For those who already speak Spanish fluently or natively, I don't think they are worried about the language, I think they want to know how to do the job right because you can still get fired for not understanding basic computer skills or for getting nervous for example.

The third tip is the most underrated advice most non-native Spanish-speaking bilinguals tend to forget. Most of them, after getting hired as bilinguals, would never continue to practice and study. Having said that, their level of learning and proficiency becomes stagnant which will affect them once they decide to resign and look for greener pastures. Considering the number of applicants (both with or without experience), the competition now gets tighter as time progresses...not to mention the presence of native speakers which is the preference of most companies. Anyway, I was able to get out from Spanish and am now into French. Buena suerte a los que persiguen aprendiendo esta lengua extranjera.

Please tell other recruiters to stop offering low language premiums! compensations for bilinguals keeps on decreasing nowadays bcoz of some bloodseeking recruiters
@JosephSolisAlcaydeAlberici
@JosephSolisAlcaydeAlberici 3 года назад
That is the consequence of lack of widespread proficiency of foreign languages like Spanish where bilingual recruiters have to lower language premiums, just to fill up vacancies that couldn't filled up by natives (we don't have sufficient number of Hispanophone natives anymore). You cannot blame them but the education system that doesn't offer extensive foreign language education starting kindergarten. If we want more Filipinos to work in bilingual accounts, then we need to produce millions who are capable at speaking Spanish or Mandarin at advanced level upon graduating senior high school.
