That is the same man. He does this with all his "Solo" work. He is a very tallented man with an incredible 5 octave range. In my 60 years of listening to music I might have come acrost 20 people that had that much range. He really is incredible.
It’s funny you joked around about them being twins… His new cover of I See Fire is the first time I’ve watched a video and half way through forgotten that they’re all him. 😮
The song that you were talking about at the start, 'I See Fire', was just released by Geoff a few days ago and it doesn't disappoint so I would definitely recommend reacting to it!
VoicePlay was founded long ago and has changed some members over time but Geoff Castellucci, the bass, and Laiye Stein the vocal percussionist, have been singing together since middle school.VoicePlay is almost strictly a capella, they have twice included an instrument. Geoff adds mucic to his solo videos but it's all done on his keyboard using plugions to get different instrument effects. He's in his early forties now. :)
There have also been times when Geoff has hired somebody else to do the Guitar for him since that is not an instrument he plays. He did that at least once for his cover of 'Bear Necessities'.
@@nightspicer Go to his channel and ask him. You may as well be certain instead of guessing. He's a nice guy, he may even give you a definitive answer.
The two of you are so cute together. I hope you do more reactions with your guest. And Geoff is totally the guy to listen to. His latest release will have your eyebrows in your hairline with surprise!😯😄
Anthony Anthony Anthony....... you are a bad bad boy... and I love it... 🤣 Your voice might not be as deep as the bloke on the video, but let me tell you, it has the same effect, your resonance can be felt right to the core...😉 🙃🐨🇦🇺
Hey Anthony, I can’t remember if you’ve already done a reaction to the Peter Hollens featuring Tim Foust version of this, but if you haven’t, you should! It’s definitely worth checking out.
Geoff released the next one in this series, I See Fire. He is about 42. He also has a couple of videos on how to sing really low. VoicePlay since the beginning of the year has done Nothing Else Matters (Metallica), In My Room (Beach Boys), The Golden Hour, Valhalla Calling (Miracle of Sound), Seven Nation Army (White Stripes),
Love the Leg pulling ...on him having 3 brothers ahahahahaha its call Sub Harmonic. Do... 7 Nation Army cover...or his cover of Bill Withers, Ain't No Sunshine...
You were saying something about your own base voice Ray? :D I think these deep voices are part of the reason women are grateful that there are men on this planet. I really had to try hard to accept the fact that he is performing all 4 parts !!! I can only think of a lady turning to her boyfriend and saying, "You can go now. I want THAT guy! "
You guys are adorable, but she is really adorable, bring Tamara (?) (Respect name) back for reactions, a natural. First time listening, they are gooood...mesmerizing.👊☝️🖼☝️🎇🤩
I think for copyright reasons you're suppose to pause the videos. Besides; if people want to see the video in full we can go to the original. Reaction videos are supposed to have a reaction: as you do nicely.
You always get copyright claims, frequent pausing or not. I’d have to pause every 5 seconds and speak, which would kill the video. Luckily Geof’s and Voiceplay’s distributor is reactor friendly
Very nice... for me you could pause and tell us your thoughts!! Everyone going for the song without pausing can watch the original. I WATCH REACTIONS to listen to the reactors... you have to say more than most, no? But this was fun... 🎉😂❤
Geoff says in his training videos: “ people ask me how I hit those super low notes? Simple’s combination of amplifying the voice (mic) and turn the eq all the way up on the bass settings.” I can sing this and match him note for note with out a mic or processing. I’d love to see what it sounds like amplified with bass gains all the way up!
Hey man my name is Justice Greene and I've been singing bass for 3 years and I've learned geoff castellucci creeky door technique so if you want to make a music video let me know I live in San Bernardino County
He doesn't know Tim Foust's bass yet, he's from the acapella band Home Free. Misty Mountains - Peter Hollens feat. Tim Foust. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-yb2HR47npEU.html&ab_channel=PeterHollens Have fun reacting.
Thanks for your reaction- you two are adorable! Voice Play has the best Disney covers on the internet so if you have children they would love them. Geoff has a great sense of humor and has actually named his Geoff clones after the common misspelling and mispronunciation of his first name- they are "Jeff", "Goff" and "Jeoph" (and occasionally a fifth clone, Darryl, will join them).
This song is from The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey. One scene shows a gathering of all involved at Bilbo Baggins' home. That is why Geoff dressed in different clothes to represent each involved in Unexpected Journey.
