Have you ever jacked up your car at the factory-designated jack point, but then scratched your head trying to figure out where to put your jack stand? Does your vehicle have four (4) factory-designated jack points, but no jack points in the center front or center rear? Did you ever need to change the height of your jack stand in the middle of a job, but didn’t know how to do it on the fly? Do you have an electric vehicle with the battery under the car and near the jack points, but feared damaging the battery which could lead to a catastrophic fire? Well, worry no more! Rennstands are the solution! Rennstands solve the problem of lifting, supporting and height-adjusting a car at the same jack point. Rennstands do not use a gravity-dependent ratchet system, which if bumped, can fall. Each Rennstand uses four (4) super-strong super-safe solid pins. Just bought a set based on your review. I have always felt uneasy with cheap jack stands. Being able to jack up the actual lifting point is genius.

Just received a set, they are very solid, weigh about 20 pounds each. Inner pieces are solid metal, not tubes like the other version, this version is cheaper price too. ETA manufacturing is in Niagara Falls USA, I believe, but there is a company in Florida that also sells them. The Florida ones are more money, $225, (black and silver) the ones in this video are cheaper $130(orange and silver). If made in the USA is important to you, (and it should be) buy the expensive ones. If distributed in the USA is ok with you (why not it’s $95 cheaper) buy these ones. Delivery was fast (5 days international to Canada), packaging was done well, nothing damaged or lost. More money than a regular jack stand, but they are far from regular.

It has. Safe Jack has had Rennstands for 5+ years, bought a set when they first came out.

I thing these are especially good for newer unibody vehicles. And look pretty safe and stable.

In the pictures it say 6 ton per *pair*. On their website listing it says *3* ton per pair. Rennstand’s own stand it’s listed as 3 ton per stand. Which is it? 🥴

this is from the manufacturer's website q&a section. "On internal testing, our product supported over 6 tons per pair. But on independent lab testing, we decided to just to do the minimum and got certification for a 3 Ton lab test, per ASME/PALD standards for jack stands."

This might be the only safe product to use for people that live in hilly areas. Lots of San Francisco has nothing but driveways at 30°. I doubt many of those people change their own oil, but it does make you wonder how one would do so safely. Maybe a more common use case would be rural areas with no concrete. That nice big footprint would work well in a wooded setting

Those are actually nice man. Thanks for showing me this. I am fixing to start a rather large project on a Dodge RAM rebuild. Could you tell me, do you think they will go high enough for a lifted truck? or no?

Because of the weight of the RAM, I would recommend something a bit bigger. Maybe the 6 ton Daytona jack stands at Harbor Freight? I really liked these for my truck too, i thought of half of sleeper block under the renstand... but found them difficult to buy... I especially liked the feature on these, where you can higher if in the the middle of a job ... I grabbed those 6 Tonner's our friend recommended for $60 on a Amazon special. Would have preferred these though...
