A Cave Story Christmas Miracle

This is definitely surprising. I saw that Tyrone posted a picture of this game on Twitter but I just assumed it was the typical song and dance teasing that he usually does.

My god, there was a SPRINT BUTTON? I've made my way through the entire game by slowly walking everywhere... Ughgh. In terms of lore, it's worth to note that in the stage "Island Room", we can see what appears to be Igor in one of the beds, which is kind of wild. I always assumed he was dead after his fight in Egg Corridor. I don't think any of this is at all meant to be canonical or taken seriously (I wouldn't go adding it to any timelines if I were you), but still, I was surprised to see Igor, seemingly alive and well. Maybe it's just another mimiga wearing a green tie, haha. Also, yes, you are in denial about Cave Story Story.

I had heard about Cave Story for over a decade now, and always having a low end pc I always played indie games since they weren't as graphically intense as triple A games. But of all the indie games I never played Cave Story. I was watching one of your videos on it and finally decided to try it, and not I'm forever hooked! I'm currently on the last cave in the game to get the hidden ending, but it's been quite a joy. Perfect timing too since this little gem has also come out. Thanks man!

Tiny spoiler warning for a secret in cave story This could have happened the same year quote and curly save the island. In the secret text in the waterway cabin if you left curly it says pixels daughters birthday which is before december and the way it was worded makes it sound like it was coming up. It sucks we dont have a exact timeline so we can know all the months and days of major events such as the start of the robot war

this is actually shocking. i cant wait for all the assets to be ripped lol

I can only hope that this will bring forth a year of new cave story projects like cave story story into finally being announced or at the very least new cave story merch
