As a Jets fan I was thrilled that we were in until the end for Hill but at the end of the day you can only do so much. Hill trains in Florida, lives there in the off-season, JD didn't fail the Jets, he can only do so much and you can't force a player to go somewhere. Dolphins get a great player and the Jets go back to the drawing board. :(

Exactly. The sooner the other afce teams realize what they are, the better they will be. Pats, you drafted diet tannehill. If you don't have Derrick Henry to cover that, then you aren't going far. Jets, you have Derek Carr. You will be stuck with him for a decade. Miami, you have a slightly more athletic Jason Campbel. You either accept these facts and make a change. You accept these facts and cope. Or you don't accept these facts and live in denial. But no tyreek hills or Matthew judons are going to change this. The Bills won the lottery on their dumb gamble and you keep trying to catch up playing scratchers

As a Chiefs fan, I always knew Hill would price himself out of KC eventually. At least we've pulled in a haul in draft capital and hopefully Veach utilizes it to bolster both sides of the ball. There are some impressive athletes available this year. Plus, they could start to find guys willing to play with Patrick and Kelce that will be just as effective, while Hardman takes the deep balls once aimed toward Hill.

Let me re-assure you here, as a fellow KC fan. This move has a TON of positive potential. we got 5 draft picks, that's a lot of draft picks, we can either use those to trade up, or use them and have a ton of picks this year, increasing our odds on finding good players. Not to mention getting rid of Hill frees up 20+ million in cap space this year, so we can go after someone big in FA. This was a long term move that sets the team up for success. Paying a 30 year old WR 30 million a year is DUMB. I mean hell, the Raiders just sold their future on one guy. If the Carr/Adams connection doesn't happen they are screwed.

I just want to say as a Chiefs fan, that beating the Broncos 14 times in a row is worth almost anything. Also, the Dolphins did us a solid when they knocked Tom Brady out of the playoffs the year the Chiefs won. So we are paying that favor back to the Dolphins. You are welcome Miami! @@depewfootball59 But Tua has hill and waddle as his weapons and they just went out and got the best OT in free agency. Also keep in mind that they almost made the playoffs this year. I definitely wouldn't say there is nothing to worry about.

Chiefs traded him at peak value and will replace him with someone younger. KC has 12 draft picks this year. Watch out for another blockbuster trade (D.K.🤞) or a trade up in the draft for a stud rookie on a cheap contract.

As a KC fan... this is not the reaction. We got FIVE picks for him. We'll have some figuring out to do this year, but FIVE picks means we'll be good. We'll be just fine. Even if Tyreek played this year, he would be GONE next year. We got FIVE picks for a player who we had ZERO chance of keeping beyond this year. Thats REALLY REALLY good.
