Also social environments play a role in depression and anxiety ; the female room-mates I lived with caused me extreme depression , when I would leave I’d feel much better ; people can be a trigger to our emotions

Just found out from this video that my hyperthyroidism maybe be contributing to all these anxieties I'm going through. I thought I'm having a mental disorder. Thank you Dr Vora. I will look more into this.

Hi - thanks so much for the videos! I went through an intense release of very early childhood trauma release starting bout 4 years ago where I could not sleep, was in intense fear, my body was buzzing all over and my brain seemed to have different temperatures in different parts. The doctors wanted to put me on antidepressants. The psychiatrist did prescribe Ativan which I didn’t take at first but then took it only at night for sleep cause I just couldn’t sleep. I had to get off it and, after reading about all these people’s problems, I would not take the antidepressants I found that a combination of Gabapetin and Ambien in relatively small doses was enough to bring some sleep relief. Acupuncture kept me buoyant. I did a lot of kundalini yoga and I did therapy. It was lucky to have a job which gave me extra time. The elevation went down after a year and one-half and I was able to get off the sleep meds. I’m still processing stuff - I do a short hatha yoga routine and then meditate close to one hour every morning getting up at 4 or 5 typically including breathing practices. I do martial arts often in the evenings, or go for long walks. I appreciate hearing from the speaker - I so much like these videos. However I don’t agree on the use of marijuana and psychedelics. I did a lot of both - and many other street drugs when I was young. I benefited some from the psychedelics if the stuff was clean and in special circumstances. I did ayahuasca about 12 years ago I think cause I wanted to find a way deeper into myself. I was with a native guy who did it ceremoniously. It was heavy and I think that is what shook the early trauma out of me - dangerous to do the way I did it because my guide gave me such a high dose - it felt like I could have died. Anyway, these days I am wanting to be very settled so the meditation is so important. Thank you.

Hi, thanks! I think this happens bc of a program we use, Buffer, to post to multiple social media accounts at once. Buffer sometimes doesn't play nice with Twitter. Appreciate you bringing it to our attention!
