Oh, Ma Glaucomflecken absolutely has a Texan accent xD If I had to describe it... While the word choice is pretty neutral for American english, there is this twang sound, like a string on a banjo, that really brings it to attention. The preference for nasally sounds as well.

I’m a fan of Ma Glaucomflecken. Fun to see this interview. ❤ Can relate to the stories of her being able to make a friend of anyone anywhere. My dad was like that. When we stopped for fuel on long road trips, the rest of my family often went into the gas station for snacks while my dad fueled up. By the time we returned, there was a 99% chance that my dad would have made a new friend while he was pumping gas. He was amazing. It’s a gift to have a person like that in your life.

Ma Glaucomflecken is a breath of fresh air!😍 My best friend of 49 years is exactly like you!😘 She has never met a stranger. I have decades of incredible stories about her and her encounters, the best one is the day we met Bob Hope. Boy was he surprised!😋 I'm also a Texan (born and raised) and I don't have an accent either! I'm particularly fond of the sign that says, "I don't have an accent, y'all do!"🤠 I'm not sure what part of Texas you're from but we had a viscous thunderstorm last night and lost phones, cable and Internet. So unfortunately I wasn't able to watch this video last night but I'm so glad I got to see it today! I can totally relate to your Uber story because I have a friend who needed rides to some appointments and called for my assistance. So whenever she needed a ride, she would text me she needed a Vuber! We just took the first initial of my first name and put it in front of Uber. She even told her doctors that she had her own Vuber driver. They all thought it was hilarious!😁 I hope we get to see you more whenever you visit your son and daughter-in-law. You make a wonderful impression on people and we enjoy seeing another side of the family!(not that we haven't enjoyed Dr and Lady Glaucomflecken)😉 Safe trip back to Texas where we're finally below 100°! We're expecting more rain today and tomorrow so it might actually be a little greener when you return. If you're ever in central Texas, just let me know and I'll show you the best barbecue around. I also know of some great places for fish and shrimp for something different. There's nothing like Texas hospitality and I could also introduce you to my friend who is just like you! Of course I wouldn't be able to get a word in edgewise but I'm used to that.☺️ We could even share the story of the day we met Bob Hope. I secretly took pictures of the whole thing which made it even funnier!😚 I feel like I've already met you because you're so similar to my friend! You make it easy for people to open up with your wonderful personality! You have a special gift and you're not afraid to share it.🥰
