Hi, I think you could contact cell phone makers and suggest that they add a feature to disable at will that " red eye suppression " in photos with a flash, so that retinoblastomas ( that are more prevalent in children ) can be detected sooner.

Hey, all 400 or so of us at Vermont Law School in South Royalton were only 25 miles away! We used to go to Hanover when we wanted to be in the city.

Fantastic. informative and funny conversation. My life was saved by pediatric oncologists at the University of Washington. 12 years old and diagnosed with Hodgkins lymphoma stage 3B. This was in the early 1970's. Staging splenectomy, MOPP chemo and Cobalt mantel radiation.... Many years later, I went to med school at the UofW and anesthesia residency there. I actually was able to meet and work with my oncologists. Dr Reynolds and Dr Char and general surgeon Dr Bill.

The Dr. Suess comment reminded me of something. I went to a University of Applied sciences with a big design faculty. They also had library/archivist sciences, engineering, architecture. Especially for the architects and engineers it was important to have a pretty diploma to hang up on the wall. Thing is though... our heavily typography focused design faculty was all up in the University's logo. It was a modular logo based on a custom font. That means, it could be easily edited and would always read as the logo. IT WAS A SMILEY. This is the logo: FH;P. Its a very angular font and many people did not see the smiley there. But on many official documents there is a huge banner with the logo in vertical and a big typographic smiley. Design faculty loved(s) it! If you felt like it,. The vertical logo is FHP:-) with the ) being at an angle. This ornamented official letters. So for a invoice you could make it FHP:-/ or FHP>:( Well, the engineers complained. They don't want an effing smiley on their diplomas. Spoil sports!

Wait a minute...who does the grossest surgeries? Isn't that automatically colorectal? Is anything else even in the running?
@KxNOxUTA
@KxNOxUTA 9 месяцев назад
Nope cause apparently even amongst medical staff, ppl are more creeped out by going near the eye than going near the colon. Plus, usually the colon is kind of kept emptied for such surgeries, no? XD

I've watched quite a few veterinary surgeries, including castrations, wounds, abdominal, orthopedic, cancers, including 3rd eyelid... but the grossest one that made me turn away was an eye removal.
