Your mama has such a beautiful soul! I am an ER doctor and I look forward to every one of these videos. I am also a Stage 4 cancer survivor, was diagnosed with lymphoma not even a year after I started out as an attending. Went through chemo over the summer of 2020. You're right that it's not an easy road, but there is a light at the end for many of us. There will come a day where the first thing she thinks about in the morning is not "the big C". Where it'll be just a passing thought that flickers occasionally. I hope that day comes soon for her! We're rooting for her.

My parents also arrived from overseas to the U.S. to help me with my chemo and radiation treatments for 6 months, just like your mom did. I probably watched Ma Glaucomflecken's renovation reaction video a dozen times because it was just pure joy- a true balm for the soul in those earlier pandemic days. Other appearances she's made in your tweets and videos have been just as delightful- the salmon video comes to mind as another one that really gave me a good chuckle. She definitely brings joy to your page and posts. I'm glad to hear she is on a trajectory (albeit a long one) to recovery, and know that even on the hard days of her cancer treatments, she's probably still full of sunshine and optimism. I was diagnosed last week with Ovarian Cancer. I’m 61. I lost my Mom to Breast Cancer when she was 50. It is indeed a tough road. Your Mom is Adorable and so full of appreciation about the simple joys of life. All prayers for the best possible outcome!
