Andy Mations See, that’s the thing. We only see his humor from David’s vlogs or his vlogs alone, or we see the music he produces. His acting. But we don’t actually see Alex himself. You know what I mean? If he’s down for it, it would be a pretty fucking great video to watch. Genuinely intrigued here.
@@chlorohydex he's done a podcast with Brandon once, about a year ago and he did open up more than he has before, nothing too personal but it was still more than what we usually get from him, so maybe he is open to do this with Brandon but again, idk because i'm not Alex. But boy i'd be excited lol

Honest and real can just mean something like this which is a genuine conversation as opposed to something funny and scripted like much of David’s vlogs

mae Simon: You get there's a difference between "being an intellectual" & thinking in a philosophical manner right? An extensive vocabulary usually comes from being well read, where as someone can have wonderful critical thinking skills, & thus contribute really well to an intellectual conversation, without necessarily being well read... Its all about how they process the world 😊 When we forget that, is when many can view us as pretentious, & that's when things can become problematic (when people stop listening)... The world is a wonderful diverse place, not everyone likes to read extensively, & that's ok... Matt, you don’t have to “vlog” to do RU-vid. You could do a whole magnitude of things. Do RU-vid for a while and get some cash to do what you really want to do. No shame in that. This world is a very “online” driven business market. Use it to your advantage!
All I learnt from this is that Matt comes from money so he doesn't need to vlog. All the things he's "doing" won't bring in enough for him to live so he's being subsidised somehow. Unless he has a job he didn't mention
Sam Walker I was thinking the same thing. I still don’t understand how he gets so many brand deals (and a lot are fairly big companies) when all he does is post Instagram photos every once in a while and appear in his friends’ vlogs. He didn’t really explain this in this video. And he said he donated to Alex’s movie- he has to come from money.
elaine k I’m guessing matt has a manager and that explains all the brand deals. Even though he comes from money that doesn’t have anything to do with people wanting to sponsor him. Matt is an extremely likable personality with a clean reputation and since he doesn’t really do videos and have a specific target audience, I think that makes it really easy for his manager or whoever to get him brand deals that pertain to anything
I honestly always thought that Matt was just a funny guy and that was it. But seeing this made me relate to him so much more and made me have more respect for him and Brandon. Im so happy to see that Brandon is making something so simple and real. To just have a conversation with people who are seen so differently in the public eye is something that is greatly needed on youtube.
*I feel like Brandon would be like a good person to be married to* like you could have interesting conversations.... before sleeping, just sipping some lukewarm tea on your side of the bed, he'd be reading something and out of nowhere you'd spark a debate based on some old classical movie they played in the background of some random phone company commericial (yes, phone company... the adds these days, don't make much sense)... *I forgot what I was commenting about* I found this car conversation the most interesting, becaise I could relate to the topic of film, cinematography, photography etc. *keep doing you Brandon, these are great* !

I love watching Brandon do these. It reminds me a lot of myself and I so appreciate exactly what he’s doing. It’s not fame. It’s not views. It’s a real guy worried and wondering about his friends, but so much more than that it’s obvious he has many inner battles and I love seeing his face light up when I feel something he hears makes a connection to his suffers. I’ve had many talks with my friends about their life and what it is that makes them, them. I have the answers for them but when it comes to myself I’m empty. And have nothing really to say or conclude. But divulging in other helps bring light to things in ourselves we don’t understand. I adore, Brandon. I so respect and understand what you’re doing. For others, and yourself. You deserve answers.

Why doesn't Matt create a new form of entertainment by making films for youtube, creating a new type of content. The higher quality video that everyone on this platform wants to see. Like not even for money just create great content as I want to see what his mind can accomplish!
Wow this was so great. Matt seems like such a cool and interesting person and it was great to see him open up. I've always been intrigued since hearing that he policy debated at UT since I used to debate also. His photo of Kelsey and Cody was also AMAZING from Coachella.❤️

i love just watching brandon have conversations he's so smart and i feel like he's able to articulate himself very clearly and doesn't hide what he's thinking which makes it even more interesting i just love this series
Ingmar Bergman is an amazing Swedish Director. I recommend watching Persona. It’s his best film in my opinion. Oh and Wild strawberries is amazing as well. I also want to say you guys are really amazing. I love that you guys talk about film. I can’t wait to see your future projects guys.
Favorite conversation so far. I went to film school in LA and lived out there for 6 years and by far my favorite thing to do was to just talk and geek out about movies and different directors/writers/DP's etc...Made me miss those times a lot. Also love your shorts, you are definitely a talented writer. I'm happy you work with Christopher Brietinger a lot, I went to film school with him and always thought he was talented and a good guy. Keep up everything you do, its been cool to see you grow.
you two seem like really genuinely kind, inspired, down-to-earth people who earnestly love creating, and that’s so wonderful to witness! you may call it your “job”, and it may have its stresses and downfalls like any other, but when you love what you do and are eager to grow and learn in your field, it’s less of a job and more of a passion. finding that driving force, one that can continue to motivate you even on the tough days, is so hard; some people go their whole lives without achieving it. i hope that you both find someone who you can trust enough to open up about your work life. because when your job is your passion, it’s not “just a job” anymore.

I could watch hours and hours of Brandon and Matt talking about film. This was the most genuinely, start to end, entertaining videos I’ve seen in a while
I am really enjoying these sit down and drive around videos that youve been doing. They are really interesting. I like seeing things from this very laid back perspective
