DO ANDREW SIWICKI. Shane does interviews and speaks about his art a lot recently, but I think hearing from Andrew and his contributions to Shane’s channel creatively and the intricacies of planning these series with him would be fascinating
There's this podcast Andew's recently been on and talked a little bit more about working with Shane and I loved it! I'd love it if he did an interview with Brandon, too.
Davidas Davida I’m pretty sure his point is not to look into things so there is no bias. Just a true conversation without bias or knowledge. True open format
Genuinely feel like Brandon is just one of those people who listens and wants to understand others. These videos feel very easy to watch because they're just casual, real conversations.
Yes! And it’s especially beautiful to me because I relate a lot to this and have wanted to create things on RU-vid but feel like there wouldn’t really be an audience for people who just want to see more low key real life things like this but to me it’s so fascinating like I live for this kinda stuff
yeah absolutely- me too Madie- I remember as a kid my favourite part of a movie was always like the start where you just got to observe the characters hanging out in their day to day - low key real life things- before all the drama kicked off and stuff
I really don’t think he does anything lol he hangs out with friends, stars in mukbangs, gets paid bank and goes on trips for just posting a couple ads on Instagram lmfao no hate though must be nice
Psychologically speaking, you sound really dumb. Lol you watch one shane video and suddenly your educated enough to use these big words hahahahaha good job sis you should pursue psychology
I wrote "psychologically speaking" because I actually think it's interesting and don't just mean it as hate. I'm interested in psychology and it's included in my studies at the university, so I don't see how that makes me dumb?!
Taylor Ahring hahahah you’re the type of bitch i cant stand. you’re a narcissist just like tana:-) think you’re so smart and better than everyone else when in actuality you have a horse face and a garbage personality
Yes that would be Epic!! I saw Shane’s name on his Podcast (I’m sorry Dad) & thought they actually had him on but after opening the full description where it also read ‘answering your emails ‘... then realized they were just talking about it. But agreed this series is Phenomenal ! Just as Josh Peck has found a Niche with ‘Loosing your V card’ Brandon has certainly carved out his own & I’m sooo excited to see what the future will be! But Tricia & Tana in the same week is just Bloody Brilliant!!
mariemiley100 lol yeah. And I understand, I love his stuff too. But I think it really is just in Shanes personality. I love watching his conspiracy theories and stuff bc of it.
Yeah not really at all. Shane puts 120 times more effort into editing and making his series more like a “movie” then a simple conversation while driving. No hate to Brandon, I love these videos but they’re nothing like the content Shane puts out.
@@ShadowGaming-hh1wt these videos of his and shane dawsons series are essentially trying to understand the people within the videos. They are nothing alike, but brandon definitly is getting the point across better than shane dawson. Shane does it for entertainment and tries to make it entertaining as possible and he loses the humanity in it by making the people within it look like characters. Brandon is trying to show us exactly who these people are and its obvious because there is no editing. And just because shane put more effort doesnt mean it is better or that he does it better. I understand tana mongeau more from this than shanes videos on her. Same with trisha paytas. Im also going to add that I stan shane dawson but I can also be critical. I love shanes videos and I watch all of them when he releases them. Im not at all implying hes bad at what he does because no hes boss at what he does, but that doesnt mean people cant create content that works better than him or on the same level.
even youtubers I love them but its sad they have to put on this act to be happy and if they are ever sad someone comments hate like "oh you cant be sad ur a youtuber you have a schedule to post whenever" but some of us behind the camera don't realize they're all human and go through shit, cant be these perfect youtuber angels all the time. and that sucks I feel bad for my favorite youtubers they all deserve the whole world and no hate
When you get down to the bottom of it, she was a young girl that was given an opportunity and she got excited and took it without a ton of thought. She's 20 years old. You can tell that she is open to learning and that she has grown a lot. I'm 20 too, and I've messed up a couple times this year and I completely get how you feel like you're just 5 years older. For me I've been so crazy stressed that I feel like I'm actually about 40 🙃 Anyway, I hope this blows over soon.
Lizard Queen Tana took money out of her own pocket despite not making a cent off of it. The ticket money never reached Tana OR Michael, the ticket company held the money in case something like that happened and refunds needed to be made. And they were
@Lizard Queen Oh my god haha, one sunburn isn't going to kill you. Also they had the ability to walk away and get shelter if they were truly in pain/in danger.
I love this conversation series you are doing so much. It feels so personal and real. There’s no crazy editing or forcing any kind of conversation just to appease the audience. I absolutely love it, it’s so interesting especially since you’ve been speaking to such interesting people as well. I hope you continue this and keep talking with a variety of popular youtubers.
Damn Brandon, I was always impressed with your intellectual side but you picking people’s brains and humanizing and trying to understand and empathize with them is really refreshing. The internet has made it so these people are never able to grow or learn they just write them off instead of realizing that we have messed up badly too. Outside of our bubble no one else knows what we did. And no, most of us do not throw conventions or have friends who happen to be celebrities SO you don’t know what the fame, pressure, money, responsibilities would effect you as a person or your decisions. Or the whole world posting about your close friend you lost like they were just somebody else’s ex or another lost one. Trisha, Tana they are people who have and will make mistakes just like each one of us. No one will read all of this but Brandon if you do I think you’ve found your niche. Thoughtful intellectual no bullshit calm conversations with people who have been of controversy and humanize these people. Not to forget their past but to help to understand where and who they were to help them progress to where and who they can be. This is cheesy but with all this hate we need to stop ripping everyone apart and instead learn heal and grow again ❤️
It’s fascinating to me how Tana refers to her scandals as happening “to” her. It strikes me that she’s verbally distancing herself from her own behaviour by treating it like something out of her control. Not judging - I disagree with most things she says and does - but it’s just interesting that she seems to perceive herself as the victim of controversies that she causes.
Yeah but she's barely hatched out of teenage hood, I don't disagree however I Think it's a generational thing, not painting everyone with the same brush but her generation and the millennials tend too be selfish in a societal sense.
Darren Tahana i don't think that's true. this mindset is present in many people, and i don't think it's a generational thing. i still think 20 is still a child age lol
@@monishasamells for sure, I did mention her age but in my opinion through observation I'm 35 and it's a faster, want, now world from when I grew up which is a society thing so I don't think the new age intend to be selfish, I think it's just the world we live in today...again not everybody.
To everyone hating: Please understand that you are talking to a human being with real feelings. She made mistakes, as you have, but she doesn't deserve what is being said to her. I can't believe another human could be so disrespectful and inconsiderate to another human. Please stop encouraging such negative thoughts/behaviours in others. Please be kind, even if you may not like the other person. Everyone deserves kindness.
Bella Sharard “I cant believe another human could be so disrespectful and inconsiderate to another human” just like she’s been to hundreds if not thousands? Her being a human doesn’t excuse her shitty behaviour she causes to others over and over and over again without ever learning anything.
She is 20 years old. She is barely an adult. She has apologised, and done everything in her power to remedy the situation. But she can't make everyone happy. Everyone has made shitty mistakes. The difference is hers are magnified and publicised. That's not her fault.
Bella Sharard 🙄🙄 she’s 20 and young is not an excuse for all her shitty behaviour. And yes it is her fault considering she willingly makes everything public herself.
Regardless - whether you like her or not, whether you forgive her for her mistakes, no one deserves the hate she is getting. It solves nothing, just spreads more negativity.
LOVING this series, Brandon! You have a way with making people feel comfortable enough to open up. The one with your mom was really nice as well! I’d be down to see more of these, even with people not involved with RU-vid/influencers, like your friends, family, total stranger, etc.
I still don’t understand her point of people ‘dehumanising’ Mac Miller. All of his songs were in top charts, and people were grieving about how amazing artist he was. I don’t know how writing ‘I’ll do anything for you to kiss me and tuck my hair one more time’ whatever on instagram with his personal text is ‘humanising’ him. It’s just adding label to him of ‘Tana’s love interest’, not humanising lol
i think she said she saw people being like "oh just another rapper died" comments and stuff and that made her feel like he was being dehumanized by others
These videos have become my new favorites. They’re so real and uncut. You are such a talented interviewer and ask better questions than I could ever come up with but would be curious to know the answer to. You’re awesome Brandon!
I LOVE these videos so much, I don’t know why I never watched these before but I’m binging them right now. It’s so great to see RU-vidrs like Tana, Gabbie, Trisha, and people from the Vlog Squad just talking about real shit & not being overly happy & putting on a “front” for their videos (even though some of them do talk about shit on their channels). It’s just great, thank you for these videos Brandon. Happy you found something you like doing & that’s successful that isn’t 5 second videos on Vine.
I really respect these type of videos because they are so genuine. It's nice to actually listen to a conversation about real things without the affects and edits they use most times, as well as displaying more of a persona instead of their real personalities. I can feel for them and connect as people in these videos.
Tana looks like she’s never really listening, more like when someone is concerned with LOOKING like they’re listening and just waiting for their turn to talk. I feel like I didn’t learn anything new from watching this conversation, seems like she’s still just wearing a mask idk
+Allison Kittens Totally! She's the type who does that. Just blank stares while the other person is talking. You can tell she's just waiting for her turn. That pet peeve is in my top 3. I HATE when people do that! ugh.
I’ve also noticed that she changed her voice when talking about something serious that she wants people to feel sorry for her on... like it is deeper and slower. just watch her apology videos lol
Brandon your new style videos are incredible! Would love to sit down with you and have a chat myself! Keep up the good work, we’re all watching and loving it ❤️
brandon you've been having the best guests for these videos. I love it! been subbed for a while but just wanted to actually comment something and say that I can't wait for your next video, these are really good! thanks :)
Your car talks with everyone are so cool. You seem sincere and they appear comfortable opening up with you. But one suggestion from s former counselor... Research and practice active listening it seems like you're asking a question and then before they can complete there thought your assuming the answer and saying it yourself or talking over them. Also it makes it hard to listen to two people talk at the same time online on videos but I do enjoy every interview I've seen from you. Just a friendly suggestion :-).
i love so many things about this series. it's unedited, raw, and honestly he's so considerate of how the interviewee feels. before he brings up a sensitive subject, he makes sure they're okay with it. this is why brandon is such a great creator, he still has the heart after so long
Please keep this series goin! Definitely one of my favorites on RU-vid right now. The conversations are so genuine and I can’t get enough honestly lmao
Bless, it makes me so happy seeing conversation around learning intent vs.impact because fuck its hard to grasp and apply in life and needs to be talked about more and just seeing you two talk about it and Tana having really absorbed and learned it recently is just, so refreshing because i feel like so many people still don't get it and it seems more and more the influencer population does and are talking about it is just amazing ahhh
Aside from how I personally feel about Tana, it's kind of unique that she looks at Brandon nearly the whole time when they were talking (except with Mac Miller since she seemed to be getting a bit upset). The other videos I've seen of these carpool sessions, and what I'd personally do as well, the passengers mostly look straight ahead. I don't have much of an analysis to this lol, it's just interesting that she looks at him, it's a very focused style of communication. It's cool that she doesn't feel awkward looking at him when he can't look back to make eye contact.
Lol seriously. Idk how people don't realize that she'll always be a liar. Of course she wants things to be about herself, her ego won't let her just be a ~regular~ 20 year old
she’s a full blown narcissistic compulsive liar. i do not wish her the best and i hope her career finally falls off. she does not deserve the influence she has over such a young audience. her drug fried brain won’t allow it
proud of you Brandon, these videos are incredible and so personal, you’re making major moves with this and I’m so excited to see where you go from here
Just agree with him 100% and it's good PR. I like the show but this is bull, gotta grill her harder. Don't lead her into what you would like to hear from her, just ask questions.
You've really got a good thing going here Brandon! You have the personality needed & right questions & answers to make people open up & feel like you Really care or agree even if you don't at times. Waiting for the next one, whom ever That may be!!!!
why do you have to be such a dick? she always uses good vocabulary because she’s actually decently smart. you’re just trying to be funny and relatable because it’s easy to hate on someone who has stumbled and fallen into a bad light on the internet. you’re not funny, you’re just rude bro. people that are smart can still be repetitive and have a silly disposition. why are people like you? gross. hatred is ugly just stop.
Brandon is so genuine,I love this series because nothing seems forced. RU-vid needs more real person to person interactions such as this, rather than the played out clickbait and staged shenanigans.
