@@mightymeatymech Nahhh Miss Tiffany New York Pollard was leaving no crumbs behind. Francesca is just a mean girl who never grew out of high school and whose only personality trait is staring into the distance.
I'm a boomer and it's driving me crazy no one knows who Nick Lachey is so I'm here to educate y'all: Nick Lachey was a member of the boy band 98⁰. He married singer Jessica Simpson and together they starred on a slice-of-life reality show called Newlyweds where things didn't go well. Since then, his career has pretty much entirely been hosting reality TV shows.
Ohmygod thank you, I literally never knew who he was.... So he's basically Jessica Simpson's old sugar baby? Edit-I'm not tryna be rude but like, I know who Jessica Simpson is. Pop girlie, I like her. but I would not recognize this man if I saw him on the street LMFAO
@@mightymeatymech I wouldn't necessarily categorize them as a sugar relationship since they were about the same age and in the same tier pop career path
@@mightymeatymech definitely not a sugar anything relationship, like they mentioned they were at the same point in their careers when they started dating/got married.
@@harrypuddles I just commented that I felt so old that he had to ask who he was and that very few people knew he's in 98 degrees in chat, most only knew him because he was married to Jessica Simpson lol
I miss the good old days when physical fights and screaming matches happened on trashy reality shows. Petty high school bullying isn’t as fun as watching JWOWW backhand The Situation
I experience all of these shows through the lens of commentary channels. I think I would actually die from cringe if I watched them myself. Kudos to Gunnar and all the other channels out there for being the buffer for us.
I can't even watch it with his commentary. These people are so insufferable. I wouldn't even enjoy watching them fuck, they'd just be spending the whole time talking about themselves.
1. I appreciate y’all mentioning season 8 of AYTO because I would’ve never Googled that 🤣 2. I think a dating show where no one knows they’re bi would be hilarious at first but they would quickly figure it out 🤣 3. I appreciate dating shows slowly including queer couples/highlighting queerness in general 🥰
I think these shows most times bring out the douche in ppl. otherwise if you're being real and no bs you'd possibly become boring according to the show and just kicked out? plus it's a very competitive environment or that's what it seems like so that might make ppl do decisions they wouldn't do
@PlasticDoll. my partner just said "I wish one of us had gone on a reality dating show and acted stupid for money in the early 2000's" - which is a great idea until you realize that wouldn't help a banker and a psych major much in the long run. LoL.
@@leahdevilliers2887 I wonder if there's some shit going on like what came out recently about Love is Blind, where the contestants were (allegedly) given little food and water but a LOT of alcohol. Sweating too much can be a sign your body's hydration cycle is out of wack.
I have not seen the mole but i was pleasantly surprised to see that he was not a completely douche, fboi and a clout chaser especially when he looks like that lol. He seems like a good person and was on the show to find to find an actual connection.
I watched this and it’s not a cinematic universe. It’s more like super smash brothers of Netflix where you get the all stars and every week a new challenger approaches, in this case two.
Nick Lachey was the leader of the boy band 98 Degrees during the height of Backstreet Boys and N’Sync’s popularity in the late 90s to very, very early 00’s. 98 Degrees was the number 3 boy band in the U.S. He was also married to Jessica Simpson, a popstar and actress from the same time period. They had a very popular reality show on MTV during the mid-to-late 2000’s while they were married that was the precursor to the Kardashians and Real Housewives and all of that. I think they pretty much invented the “rich people doing nothing on a reality show” genre, but I could be mistaken. Maybe Ozzie Osbourne’s show came first.
Him and Jessica also famously were on Punkd where Dax pulled up lol 😂 and Jessica also famously didn’t know that chicken of the sea was tuna fish.😑 Nick Lachey used to be a household name as we all felt bad for him LmAO 🤣
i actually love Francesca and her current bf, they’re great from what they show online which i get may not be true but eh. i also feel like she’s probably more humble then shows give her credit for cause editing and producer influence rly makes up most of the “villains” on this show
I don't even follow her insta or anything but I wouldn't be surprised if she was actually a super down to earth person. Smart girls are the best at playing this kind of messy character without messing up their own lives lmao. And you're right, editing is gonna affect everything.
@@mightymeatymech exactly! plus it’s easy to assume that since she played the rule breaker on too hot to handle, they may have type casted her as a villain on purpose and she may have been told to make drama
Nick lache hasn’t been a relevant person since before he married Jessica Simpson and she divorced him. His most famous endeavor was failing at marriage live on mtv.
Hooooly moly batman!! Francesca might be the most vain person I've ever seen in my life I mean I used to say that my favorite quality in a girl was that she was into me, but I was just making fun of myself! I do not get the feeling that she was kidding *at all.*
Idk if being attracted to someone being into you is a bad thing, really. Better than endlessly pursuing the uninterested. She's got her whole deal for sure but I don't think that's quite her problem.
Actually, I think that’s just her Netflix persona. On tiktok, especially her boyfriends tiktok, she seems like a nice person, girlfriend and even has a good relationship with his kid.
@@ashm5519 People really don't realize how fake these shows all are, even in 2023, huh? The producers absolutely tell these people to act overly dramatic, because people just being regular people doesn't make for good TV.
Gunnar having to ask who Nick Lachey was during stream made me feel so old, 98 degrees was the first concert I'd ever been to (and the Baja men opened the show🤮) so that's how old I am lol
Gunnar must have the early scoop because nobody else I've seen is talking about this show, it's literally the Bachelor in Paradise of Netflix reality/dating shows but with less silly editor hijinks.
When i saw this me and my wife were literally luke these are just all the rejects from 1&1/2 semi decent shows. Francesca was literally another dudes arm candy on love is blind too lmao.
I feel like when I don't know what to watch or I just want background noise I always go back and rewatch Gunnar or cinnamontoastken 😂🤣 I'm supporting my favorite people n clapping cheeks in ESO
Okay so... the buckets thing. I might be missing context from the way the video is cut, but like... that has to be the clunkiest gimmick to set up, right? They'd have to refill or empty the buckets after each dump, but it'd be really obvious to the contestants which was which if they did it with them there. Did they just send everyone away after every question so they could secretly fill or empty the buckets for the next question? That feels like so much extra trouble to go to. Why not just have someone toss water on them if they answer wrong and do nothing if they get it right? Or hell, have the contestants do it to their matches. That way there's more of an interpersonal element to it AND they can just hold onto a filled bucket until it's needed instead of having to reset the whole dumping contraption after every question. It's like they wanted to have a challenge that leaves everyone wet because ~sexy~ but then the only thing they could think of was those giant buckets at water parks that fill up and spill on everyone... and that was where their train of thought ended
Nick: "I went to MIT and wrote an algorithm to to pair me with girls, but I'm here to find love" World translation: I'm Nick, and if I am smart enough to get into MIT, it was just barely. In reality I probably got into a lower level college and dropped out to be a low level influencer who needs followers so I can actually make the millions I expected to make in my dream reality when I dropped out.
So Francesca looks almost exactly like Elena from The Vampire Diaries, and Nick looks almost exactly like Elijah from The Vampire Diaries and The Originals. Two Doppelgängers in the same show, of two people from the same show, in which one of those shows is almost entirely centered on the Doppelgänger phenomenon. That’s wild as F. Are these people AI generated? Like what the actual????? 😮 I am shook.
Sophie Anne and Savanah are the best and they left the show early so yeah....not worth watching it after they leave...a bunch of shallow people competing to stay in a house lol
absolutely no fucking way if a roach LANDED on me I'd be deceased let alone landed on me while they filming and while they were talking what a nightmare id simply die. looks like a water bug too noooo fuckin way
