Yeah, I was thinking the same thing, but I think because he's team captain he's not allowed to get in and help? The girl team captain from the other team was also just standing the entire time. It's weird this show played loud music, showed montages during the challenge, and had the ref speak in a megaphone the entire time but couldn't just take 2 minutes to clearly state the rules for the audience.

@@jynxiebaby5137 it's been documented that reality shows use that tactic often. But this looks extreme. They are having a bunch of people drinking heavily AS A CHALLLENGE, on the hot beach, with more likely than not absolutely no water and minimal food.

@freedfg6694 I feel like this one especially concerns me because it's a low budget party thing done by a bunch of college kids and that makes me feel like EMTs/ambulances are *not* frequently at the ready. Which should always be the case when you're mixing that much alcohol with heat and/or physical challenges and/or literal violence. And, in this case, all. When he went to lay in the water, they played that like he was "coming back new" or some shit, but I almost wonder if he was starting to overheat and had to. Dude needed a hospital bad at that point, there's no way he didn't.
