Loved this video, it was so insightful. I’ve been wondering, how do you manage with brushes when you are working on multiple (more than 3) clients & keep it sanitary? & would you also recommend buying more than one of the same sets or do you use different types of brushes for each individual?
In between my clients I use the Cinema Secrets Makeup Brush Cleaner ( amzn.to/3EcA9Ny ) to get them clean and sanitize them and I do also have multiples of the same brushes that I like to use. I definitely recommend buying more than one of the same set of brushes or you can buy individual brushes but it’s just easier to pick up a set
Hey Shanny🙋🏾♀️, May I ask you a Mac related question? My overall MSF powder is the color dark during winter/spring. I’m interested in buying dark tan for summer ; however is dark tan the same undertone as dark just a tad darker?. Or may you recommend a darker MSF with the same undertone as dark💕🙏🏾 Thanx love, happy minifriday🥳
I love it depends on how your color changes in the summer. If you get darker but you stay the same tone I would get dark tan but if you feel like when you get darker you get more red I would recommend getting dark deep. One thing about me is I HATEE when people say u have to pay for game . One thing about me I’m a well rounded licensed esthetician getting into make up now everything I did from facials to body contour to eyelash extensions to waxing i had to research n pay n ofc go to school n get my license but at the end of the day It’s okay to give free game money is out here for EVERYBODY . Their not stopping my bag at the end of the day lol. Ur work is amazing tho girl u make it look easyyy😻

I did a makeup on the bride we was in a rush, the makeup didn’t settle, after few hours it started melting I felt so bad😔💔💔. It feels so good watching the video
Awww no !! Its okay , Honestly I would take that whole thing as a learning lesson! In the future make sure you give yourself enough time to do your best work don’t allow your clients to rush you. If you feel like you need to be quicker when it comes to doing makeup make sure you start timing yourself when you’re doing make up and pay attention to where you’re spending too much time on and keep a mental note. It will help you not spend too much time on unnecessary stuff like blending your eyeshadow for 20 minutes
I’ve been doin makeup On myself and family for a longgggggg time lol but it for sure Is different working on other people that aren’t family im still working on not being so nervous I get very nervous idk why
Just keep practicing! I think working at a makeup counter definitely help me with not being too nervous doing make up on other people because I had no choice but to do while I was there 🤍

Thank you , We definitely appreciate it! I’m using my iPhone 12 promax and a LED light that’s linked in my description box but I’m definitely excited to upgrade to an actual camera because the clips take up a lot of space on my phone.
Honestly I just take it Day by day. I think it really starts with just putting yourself back out there and the clients will come eventually. While you’re waiting to be booked again do makeup on your friends or family to sharpen your skills.

Personally I never really bring foundation down to the neck I usually take the bronzing powder or body glow on the neck and chest to pull everything together .
Do you reuse the same brushes for each client? Not just for sanitary purposes, but also if you have clients with different eyeshadow color looks, concealer colors, etc.
