Man this is disappointing as a huge ADTR fan, if true. Also the fact he was convicted of vehicle manslaughter (allegedly) is sick. He only got a suspended license and a fine for killing someone? Also if the band knew his behavior and done nothing makes me even more disgusted

This year has a very disturbing trend of Bassist being outed as creeps.

Jesus. Never knew about him being charged with manslaughter. And the fact that he got off so easy from it is just downright awful. I heard about some of the allegations last year, but didn't really look into them that much. Whether who is in the right and who is in the wrong, the whole situation seems pretty shady. I'm honestly more disappointed in the rest of the band for not mentioning anything AT ALL about this. Ever since they signed to Fuel By Ramen, they've seemed to have gotten incredibly lazy when it comes to updating fans on important things. Completely off topic, but Andy Cizek (the dude who remembers when the allegations began) is a fantastic vocalist. He sings for Monuments, Makari, WVNDER and Termina. Amazing dude all around and he's from my hometown.

I just saw them on Sept 28! I had NO idea!

Idk man this stuff just upsets me more every time I think about it, and ik im definitely not the only ADTR fan to feel this way. Innocent or guilty, these allegations are going to follow them for a while. Even without Josh around due to how the rest of the band chose to deal with it. I feel absolutely awful for everyone affected by this, and I feel betrayed and disrespected as a fan of the band.

A few things that stuck out to me: - BMTH fans being the ones who brought this up as a concern is just really weird considering Oli Sykes is their frontman and the pile of accusations he’s had over the years in regards to abuse towards women is somehow OK - The accuser I remember accused several different bands including the drummer from Lamb of God of the same thing and I guess the accusation against Attila was false. But regardless - ADTR not saying anything is really freaking weird since most bands acknowledge it as soon as something happens. Like every band. I’m wondering if they’re going to break up or something because they haven’t been posting on socials except Alex posted things about his kid and Neil posted about his anniversary. Every band I know of who has had a member leave or fired a member posts about it immediately. There has to be something more serious going on with them

Yeah...if allegations against you surface like this and your response is to immediately quit your band, I find it hard to believe you when you try to say you're innocent.

Not commenting to his guilt or lack there of , but any officer of the court, be it attorney, prosecutor or judge (all of which are “lawyers”) can lose their license to practice law as it is considered unlawful to draw negative inference on ones guilt due to lack of testimony on behalf of the accused or defendant/respondent in a case and doing so can be used as the bassist… I mean basis… for a mistrial. It’s hilarious how people actually think that their ignorant opinions are actually going to indict some dude they never met for ALLEGEDLY doing something to someone they also don’t know. It’s the equivalent of Laurie decapitating the paramedic in H20… Court of Public Opinion= Vigilante Justice. I’ll let the court decide before I make an opinion.

Man I got arrested for weed possession. Less than a gram and a pipe about 8 years ago before it was legalized in oklahoma and I had to pay more jjst in BAIL fees than he had to pay in total for killing someone. Wild.

I remember hearing back in like 2012 or 2013 about him being with underage girls but nothing seems to come if it so I wasn't sure would to believe it.

So, when I first heard this, and the car accident, I did some digging. About the accident, I could only find the sub reddit post, linking the "news report". There were no other reports I could find on google from other news outlets... I am not saying it didnt happen, but something like that is HUGE for ratings among news stations, yet I couldn't find anything outside reddit.... Makes no sense to me. I honestly expected to find a number of Florida news outlets covering the story.... A member of a popular band crashes their car and kills someone would be front page, big headlines... but nothing! As for the misconduct allegations, as far as I know, they are just that, allegations. Until he is proven guilty, we really shouldn't be formulating any opinions on it... Look at what false allegations did to Johnny Depp... I really hope he did not do these things! But if they are true, why are they only online allegations?! Why haven't criminal charges been filed?! I just don't get it! I hope these women seek legal action against him if he did these things! But until he is proven guilty in a court of law... Johnny Depp!

The vehicular homicide case reminds me of Todd Harrell formerly of 3 Doors Down. He was jailed for a couple of years after doing the same thing in 2013 (which is largely unknown by their fans from what I know of, and when Rick Beato parodist Pat Finnerty did a video on 3DD, he had to make an update to mention the incident), and now he's back in jail again due to possessing a firearm

He politely Said Hi and waved While Saying Hello To josh.. he completely Dogged Me and my friends with no emotion at all what’s so ever As If He spelled a Huge fart someone Let out. In my opinion if he did do that she should of pressed charges sooner. Or press charges now. I get slamming him on social media. But there is a history with cancel culture. All a women has to do is say 3 words and it will automatically tarnish or ruin your career. And if all she is doing is social media slamming . she isn't taking herself seriously and the case seriously as she should.

There needs to be a serious conversation about this sort of artists culture, people seem to forget musicans are creative types who are taking risks to perform music, they're self reaching people. The chances of your favourite singer or whatever being a douche is pretty high, expect substance use, and this kind of behaviour, it's hard to find people who can put their livelihood aside to perform music but also to it for the benefit of other people and the world rather then their own ego and pocket. We have to engage with our artists, properly, remove the toxic people, and help the ones that have became sick because of them. And some of you commenters, he only played bass in a rock/metal band? He is extremely replaceable, and should have been long ago by someone who's been playing to themselves in their bedroom working hard who deserves it. Edit: or a professional musician it takes a few phone calls and one conversation with kicking out a band member.

Anybody who was old enough to remember isanyoneup knows the SA allegations have been going on at least 10 years minimum. He's been a POS since the bands inception I'm sure. But the fact he also killed a guy drunk ndricing and got off with a slap on the wrist is wild. Also really gross that the rest of the band just swept it all under the rug.

Agreeing to a plea bargin means shit guys period it means they offer you a deal so that they dont literally put u up for like 20 yrs. Even if not guilty its simple math i can fight the state (good luck w that ) or take this deal. Secondly if prosecutor offers such a good deal it means there case is complete shit. They dont offer good deals when they have a solid case. Only idiots like someone looking for fame ( take that to mean whoever you want it to) would ignore that fact . Even if strongly feeling innocent the idea you could lose and go away for decades vs saying ok im guilty and paying some cash jts not rocket science. Police and prosecutors dont ever care whos guilty its a card game to them stack the deck and force people who dont have house money or many snake memebers to create a narrative to basically fold under pressure of what in many cases is complete untrue set of events. Prosecutors have no moral fiber and are more actor than lawyer they create lies use lies and themselves lie to win. they omit facts and cherry pick others. Unless your lawyer is baller enough to call it you absolutely never ever ever get a fair trial period

something about these SA allegations don't sit right with me, the girl accused like 4 different bands of different types of SA and there is rumours of her lying about her age all over the internet. don't think he is innocent but think a lot more will come out of this story

I could be wrong but I feel if this stuff is true then it will effect the band as a whole. The fact that they've kept quiet for so long, especially the manslaughter thing, makes them part of the problem. It will always leave a crappy feeling when listening to their music now.

I think it's strange that the band never addressed or said anything about the car crash. I understand losing family and friends in car accidents that you gotta let it go... but to be in this big band and not make a statement, is oddly conceited idk

If the allegations are true that's awful! But a case being dismissed before trial shows me there's not ANY evidence to support the claims (not to say they're not true, just to say they aren't substantiated by evidence).
