Never having visited Holly Point Campground near Wake Forest, NC, we didn't know which site to pick. Wow! The way we had to park our RV in site 27, created a 20" step-down from our bottom step. We never expected this! Fortunately, I had a little step stool that helped us reach the step. The picnic area section of the site dropped several inches. The fact that my RV has slides, prevented me from moving away from the drop-down.
Fortunately, Rita at the Entrance Station assisted me in moving to a better site.
Overall, our experience was great at Holly Point Campground, and we definitely intend on returning.
