Milo ❤️❤️ These videos are fabulous. It’s a real treat getting to see the process. Although most of it was fascinating, the impression I can’t help ruminating on is how cold your feet must be in that studio!! I hope you find some thick wool socks in your Easter basket!

I have to hand it to you, a PVA roundup pump action bottle? This deserves its own video. How it came to be, mixture, formula for best spraying, cleaning, etc. Would you please consider just doing a video on the workshop, the tools you have and use. I mix my paint in Pepsi bottles and I found that the dishwashing soap for the sink like Dawn, have little flip up lids you can work with one hand. Those fit onto any soda bottle 20oz 1 liter 2 liter. Being able to hold the airbrush while reaching for the paint, opening it , pouring it, sealing it, all with one hand , has prevented many spills.

I was thinking about doing a video on some of my tools and whatnot that I use, so definitely keep your eye out. I will try to do one sooner rather than later. Also, love the Pepsi bottle idea I will have to try it out some time.

@@ArtJeremiah Cool, I try to do things by scale so use 2-liter bottles to hold my paint when I buy a gallon and the 16.9oz bottles (that used to be 20 and 24) to work from. I would really like to know how hard the PVA round up is to clean. I go through spray bottles like they were bags of flock. They jam up no matter how much I think I cleaned them. Id hate to spend a lot on a sprayer and have it clog up and break. I am willing though. Does the glue stay in the bottle and you clean the sprayer and hose after use? Don't tell me you don't clean it at all and it never clogs. I can wait for the video for the answers. Your PVA looked very thin. You sprayed a lot. I think I use a mixture that is way too thick. Way too thick. I'm sure of it now. Id like to see the scrap box you have, or scrap boxes, pile of shame, work stations etc. All the tools, More Milo for sure. You're going to monetize that printer pretty quick so the payment plan will pay for itself. Look at it that way. That laser cutter you have looks interesting. does it cut through MDF? I'm going to look and see if you already did a video on it. Id be interested in one if it cuts through 3mm MDF without problems. Also, if you ever decide to do a video like... '100 lava craters in 10 days" or something, I love mass production videos. Not so much the speed part but the size of the endeavor part. Hey Milo

@@nowthisnamestaken I will definitely have to answer some of those questions. The laser can cut through MDF but it takes quite a few passes. As for cleaning the roundup container I spray dish soap water through it after every use. It definitely doesn't clog like spray bottles do.

@@ArtJeremiah" It definitely doesn't clog like spray bottles do." You Sold Me! I'm pricing them now.. I guess I don't need the pack back sprayer version or even the battery powered model. So I might get away with the15-30 dollar version. I guess I'll want a short of a wand as possible.

2:10 a steel or brass scratch brush would come in real handy there. Its a pen like took, you twist it to get the brush to come out or go in. You hold it like a pen has a narrow brush tip.

Interesting that you use Roundup on the grassy bits. That's a technique I would never have thought of :-D Also, +1 for Milo!!

Have you had any problems cutting insulation foam in the laser? I just bought an Xtool d1, it's really similar to yours.
@ArtJeremiah
@ArtJeremiah 2 года назад
It definitely cuts the foam but you have to set it at a pretty low setting or it burns the foam quite a bit. Also, there is obvious line marks and the deeper it cuts the wider the cuts get. So it will do but isn't really ideal unless you are cutting thinner sheets.
