I fell in love with the Yeager's design the first time I saw it and was determined to get one. I wasn't thrilled with the $400 price tag, but dammit I've been lusting after this knife for a year. My St Nicks version arrives today, fingers crossed it is worth it.

I got the NC blade version. I do like the knife, however, I think the pictures look better than it does in person. The lock bar access and operation leaves something to be desired. The action is a bit sluggish but I’m guessing that will slick up after broke in. For $400 I thought it would feel a little better out of the box. You get slicker than snot action out of tons of knives under $50 so there’s that lol but overall it’s a great size and has an awesome profile and I’m happy I finally got one Just not sure yet if it’ll stay with me forever

That’s really good advice imho . I’ve noticed a difference in action when they set overnight so now when I get a new one I don’t touch a thing besides check the screws for a few days at least . It’s funny to me because I was all 💨💨 and almost left a comment to leave the knife break in for a few days and here you are saying the same thing . Classic . Happy holidays 🎄

I got the same one. Reate absolutely killed these I’ve disassembled the corvus and thankfully didn’t have those issues the pivot island just unscrewed and the barrel was attached to the lock side screw

I got my Lush. It was kinda slow for a couple days so I was worried…for nothing. It showed up bangin. Another home run Kev.

I feel lucky to get one I was happy with both before and after disassembly. And glad to know (or mybe not so glad) I'm not the only one who noticed the T15 hole was prone to slip. Why go T15 anyway, T10 would've been just great. I think the way the pivot is assembled isn't that bad, just odd. But fine once you know how. I swear it's designed to not need loctiting, and it's an anti-travel design. But I guess time will tell if these pivots are a total mess. The T15 tooling fitment is poor for sure though. Love the knife anyway though. Aside from the pointy clip and a little better lockbar access would be nice, even though the lockbar itself is already pretty soft to the touch.

Bought 2 different versions and skiffed both of them right away. Agreed 100% with you on the pivot. From the horribly fittingT-15 to the barrel being attached to the Non-show side. The pivot area has not impressed me. But the knife is still the sexiest knife around.

I like this exclusive the most out of all the ones that were done for the v3, that Gecko camocarbon is awesome. That pivot system is totally whack. They should have just used a threaded barrel with female threads on both sides (like you guys did with the Buzz), have the captive show side piece thread into the barrel, and then just have a normal pivot screw go into the barrel from the lockbar/clip side.

That really is strange they went that route with the Pivot setup, honestly doesn't make sense. Great looking knife though, appreciate the disassembly and the heads up!!!

Interested to hear your thoughts on the "budget Yeager" from Civivi the ExOne. Pretty sure it has a reversible clip for lefties.

I know when u do a bearing swap but flip the steel washers back over and it should possibly work. I put skiffs in my liberation and when I flipped the steel washers it went off center but when I put them back the way they were from before taking it apart it was dead nutz centered (also kev I know ur liberation video is old but I know u tried 5 mm skiffs but what u needed was the 3/16 mm 1/16 ball skiffs)

I took a chance and got a V2 secondhand, but it’s just not as smooth as I was expecting, even after installing skiff bearings. Maybe it’ll break in but it was kinda lame for such an expensive knife.

what comes in the ZIRC hardware kit? I see it states 1 pivot, 1 collar, 1 clip, and 1 backspacer... I bought one second hand that had marring on the pivot screw, and a big scuff on the clip. will the screw be included with the pivot?
