I feel like gen 1 is an objectively broken game, but there's a scrappy kinda charm in it's jank. It's code feels like it was held together with chewing gum and dreams.
The AI has a constant 25% of failing status moves, and Whirlwind and Roar only work in wild encounters. Also, the games text says either super-effective or not-very-effective on dual type sometimes, but still apply netrual damage. Just ignore the text.
My first pokemon game all my friends had red and blue here in the uk and didn't get them😥 but my uncle god bless him got me a GB and pokémon yellow and i was very happy what a great game
Sometimes it's difficult to hear clearly what you're saying Not sure if it's your speaking style, your microphone or your sound mix (the EQ sounds like it's going from high to low a lot, for some reason?) I liked your video apart from that though 👍 I always enjoyed Gen 1 despite its janky quirks
Yeah audio is still something I'm working. I'm neither a sound guy or a great speaker. Speaking off a script I think harmed the audio more than it helped in this case. Anyways glad you enjoyed it!
@@AlvisBePlayingGamesI think you just need some compression. I can hear the reverb in your room. There’s plenty of presets you can use in free DAW programs. Also make sure your audio clips aren’t louder than you. People will turn those parts down then have to turn you back up.
Gen 1 is actually fantastic and top 6 but Yellow is annoying to me because the level curve. I love red and blue though. I'll take it any day over the terrible gens 7, 8, and 9 Pokemon fell off after gen 6
