Sadly, RU-vid discontinued collaborative annotations a long time ago. This is basically a shared channel. I would have put some J.Lewis references here myself, but we've already reached the annotation limit.

Prehistorically late to the punch here, but the TVTropes Bibleman page points out that what he's actually talking about is essentially _nihilism_ . Which makes a ton more sense and is still a counter to Christianity. But yeah, these kind of theists don't understand Atheism and it's much more of an attention-grabbing buzzword for the kind of folks who would let or even insist their kids watch this instead of literally any other superhero-based media. 😅

Jef Scott and Maylo Upton were the only talent in this show after Brian Lemmons left. The show completely failed after Jef Scott left and the producers wrote out L.U.C.I.-that's why Powersource is so shit. Not that this show was ever good, merely weird and memorable for it's few original bits.

Well, it is a way of thinking. Not a religion but a system of organized ideas agreed upon and accepted by its members. That's pretty much true of most any social group. Democrats, Republicans, Yaoi Fans, etc. So not a faith because there is no connection to a higher and/or deeper power, but...yeah. And also, since it's a definition in the negative -- that is, defining people by what they're *not* instead of what they are -- it will always be linked to theism. It's right in the damn name. And so without theism, atheism can't exist. You can't be against or without a thing that doesn't exist. It's like ordering a sandwich and saying "No tomatoes!" If the sandwich doesn't come with tomatoes by default, then specifying 'no tomatoes' is utterly moot. Another analogy I like to use is that calling yourself an atheist is like wearing a T-shirt that says I'm Not With Religion --->' While the word 'convert' is mainly used regarding religious conversions, the term itself is not limited to religious use. (It's actually most popularly used in terms of units of weight, length, and currencies; converting inches to centimeters, or pounds to grams, or dollars to yen.) You can convert someone to Capitalism, you can convert someone to Veganism, ergo, it's perfectly etymologically, grammatically, and otherwise logically physically correct to say you can convert someone to Atheism.
