Just got mine. First thing is, it's the first thumb pick that I've ever got along with. Second, it doubles as a regular plectrum, and I sometimes start a song fingerpicking then end by chonking the chords, so this will do that better. It's a winner.

Not really for me, but I really like the fact that someone with hand/muscle issues can play. I know several people who don’t play as much or any more due to hand issues and/or keeping ahold of a pick.

I use the bumblebee thumb pick my Fred kelly and it's revitalised how I play. I really like fingerstyle blues but something was missing when I used a normal pick. Have the bumblebee allows for great pick attack but then also frees up my index finger for a nice mix of pick and fingerstyle solos and riffs. And it's great for interchanging as well

I have had to spend a lot of effort to get better at flat picking and keep finger picking separate. I like the pick sound on all the notes so this should be the answer.I love doing for example a finger picking thing on the verse ten switch to Metal thing on the chorus.

Saw an 11 year old prodigy play a 335 with a thumb pick… I tried it and love it. Playing all my life (62) and this might be a game changer. Gotta adjust my strum cause of pick thickness, but this new pick might just be the ticket.

Or bassists that switch styles mid song. It's easy to palm fuck the pick to go from punk to jazzy, but a lot harder to retrieve that pick without skipping a beat

I don't want to start anything, but to my ears and eyes you are a better player that 99% of all "guitar lesson" youtubers out there. I can think of maybe one who's maybe as skilled as you. If you did more lessons, you would legit become more powerful in an anime sort of way.

What's the advantage of having this vs a general thumb pick?

Mainly in how it handles the strumming upstrokes (traditional thumbpicks are really only meant to be plucked downward). The spring also gives it a more elastic feel so it can behave and be played more like a classical flatpick.

More lessons in general would be awesome. I like watching your gear demos because I like to listen to you play. I've got enough stuff and am not usually interested buying more, but there about a million things you could teach us to help us get more out of the stuff we already have. This pick, though...it doesn't want to rotate around your thumb? Is it textured/grippy on the inside of the clasp, or is it just that tight?

@@JayLeonardJ Jay. It obviously got to you a bit lol. I'm a big fan, you dont need to justify to me why your doing product demos. But you should know by now some people are going to love everything you do and others are gonna tell you how they really feel. You wanna know what set me off? RU-vid re-recommended that old video of yours where you demoed those tone specific over priced pickups lol. Then BAM thumb pick demo! Here's a great way to drive my point home. I'm a huge fan of teles with bigsbys, do you know why? Because I saw you playing them! And I was blown away. I'd been playing 15 years and somehow missed out on something amazing lol! You didnt demo it, you didnt try to tell me why I would love it. You just fucking played it and I saw how much you truly loved it and I heard how great they sounded in the right hands and I was sold. Now hopefully i can get out of here before the other fanboys come and attack.......
