Something I noticed in the beginning of this video is how much more attention these Moms spend on their older babies. Even while nursing the new one. I know they all look out for their older babies but this group seems way more nurturing to them then I’ve seen in any other troop. Love your videos!!!
These guys have a real laid back feel to them. Are they still around? Would love to see them again sometime. these are wonderful videos! you are correct...he does an awesome job capturing these animals and their lives...not only does he get that on film he does a supurb job of capturing as lot often the smallest nuances. Regarding these infants being greedy and nursing all the time-a good bit of the time it has absolutely nothing to do with being hungry but just like human infants they often suckle for comfort, especially if they are frightened or nervous, tired or not feeling well. This is why so many people give human infants a pacifier in order to fulfill that need to suckle...baby monkeys don't have a pacifier handy ...but they do have mom handy most of the time!! So probably most of the time that you see them attached to mom's breast it has nothing to do with nutrition and more to do with comfort. human infants would do the same thing if given the chance! matter of fact there is some new parenting strategy where mom carries the infant in s sling inside her clothes with baby's face at her breasts so it can nurse on demand...and just like monkeys it seems like they have have breast in their mouth more often and not!
Wow, they are so laid back..tranquil and beautiful. My favorite part was the baby lying on his back on the ground, while mum kindly grooms him. I love it when the babies look right at the camera; that special connection they make with you, even if its just for a few seconds. It touches my heart every time. Thank you Arroz. Yes, I'm watching this from the future...almost two years ahead. Have you seen them since? :)

So many families here cute babies drinking mommy,s breast milk some moms are very sleepy and tired. Poor mommy,s still have to care for them Bless you all have a happy life thank you for sharing,.

nothing to do but pull kid's hair out and suckle..lol..sweet troop indeed..I like macaques best..mothers are so quiet..and most..loving..they aren't red cause they sit in grass and not concrete..and are much calmer..thank you for your excellent filming..
Arroz Marisco LOL I wouldn't mind it if either had a baby. I hear it's a lot of fun. Play with them, spoil them & hand them back. LOL. This play list came up on my Home Stream after watching the current series so I watched a few. I bare no shame in watching your videos. It's not because I'm an empty nester but rather you're a great videographer. I'm happy my kids are productive members of society. That's what I raised them to be.

Maybe started as hiccups, but I saw food come up into her mouth. I think she got a little too much from the pouch and only swallowed part which was still connected to part in her mouth. She did seem to work it out.
