Hey Matthew! I use all those products occasionally. Barbasol isn't horrible and it does have a good scent! Those twin blade razors aren't the sharpest but will work in a pinch. I like the aftershave but it doesn't last at all. Gillette Sensor 2 disposables are so much better but are costlier. For the price of all that gear, it's serviceable. The Twin Double razors from Dollar Tree are actually better than the Barbasol brand. Thanks for displaying these items, they make us appreciate the better gear we normally use! Have a good weekend! The aftershave could work with any shave really, which makes it very useful. When I first picked up these razors it reminded me of the Gillette Trac ii razor. Thanks for watching Jim!

Nice shave Matthew, those are razors that I'd use while on vacation. I'd shave in the shower and never in front of a mirror, you get good results if you're washing out the razor. They're good for two good shaves on the Saturday and Sunday morning. Have a great day Brother

Used barbasol for many years to this day. Never an I issue. The first shaving cream I started with when I was a young man.

I shaved with Barbasol with Aloe and a Mach 3 for a long time. After learning how to use a DE I never went back, lol. My mom ended up with my old Mach 3 handle and Barbarsol, but I got her a DE razor, shave brush, a decent cream, and blades for Mother’s Day this year.

Using added water for the aerosol can of Barbasol will help. Expect good results; and you CAN use a brush too.

A close enough shave. In fact, I keep a can of Barbasol handy in case I need a quick shave. I also discovered that putting it in a shaving bowl and applying it with a brush works better than my hand. I even dip the tip of the brush into the water to add hydration. That helps with the slickness too. Actually, Edge gel works better than Barbasol because I can add that directly to the brush and do a face lather. You should try it. The only time I use a cartridge anymore is to shave the back of my neck when I shower. You can't get nicked doing that.

I've had the Barbasol foam and the 1919 gel for some time, and once in a great while I will use them. But like you said once you are used to a quality DE razor and blade with good soaps that stuff sucks. I used the BIC single blade disposables in the past and find they work better than the multi-blade type. It's too bad Barbasol discontinued their aftershave because I really like it, and I still have one and a half bottles.

Tried it just for fun and surprised me wasn’t as bad as I thought it would I did use pinaud clubman whiskey woods aftershave (only difference).

We've definitely gotten spoiled. I kept a disposable razor in my car for a long time and would occasionally dry shave my neck (I had a beard) with it before work (no aftershave). It probably had 30+ tuggy shaves and I probably needed a tetanus shot just from looking at it!

It's funny that you say that because that is exactly why I have cheap razors and barbasol my wife cuts my hair and when she is done she uses barbasol and a cheap razor to clean up the back of my neck

there is a lot of was shown on RU-vid how to extent the life of cartridge razor blade so simple cheapest was is using the skin on your under arm non hairy side its like a leather strop a tip when using these razors shorter strokes rins more often , yes i´ve tried both even i Live in Denmark and Barbasol is hard to come by and expensive to import from outside Europe

The lubrication strip does nothing helpful. It might even help the razor to clog more.

Canned goo, and mass produced cheap disposable razors no thanks, im a traditional wet shaver, i will stick to quality soap with a good brush and a de razor any day
