Thought I'd try out a new series, especially since Dorm elevators and the Twilight Ride Series are coming to a close.
I didn't include roped hydraulic elevators because they are hard to distinguish when the elevator isn't scenic, and I did not include dry-powered vs. submersible hydraulic elevators because I couldn't gain access to a machine room.
If any information is incorrect, let me know and I may make an updated take.

Fun fact: Not all MRL elevators have their motor at the top of the shaft. Some Thyssenkrupp Isis elevators have the motor in the pit. Personally, that's not a smart idea.

Musicfreakcc filmed a hydraulic elevator that goes up 13 floors. A hydraulic elevator elevator going up 15 floors used to exist, but it was removed. Tip about identifying roped hydraulic elevators: In California, and possibly some other states, it will say if an elevator is roped hydraulic on the permit/certificate. You didn't mention holeless (not roped), or holeless telescoping hydraulic elevators. There are some other types of elevators as well, but they are very rare, some that you might have never heard of. If you don't know what they are, I can tell you.
