They all still look great. I met Morten Harket in Westwood, CA in 1986 when I was in my early teens. He was tall and gorgeous. He was very nice and gentlemanly. I saw the guitar player in Westwood the same year. Very tall man. Morten Harket is an approachable gentleman.
As a 19 year old girl I got an autograph from Morten at the mall in SP Brazil when Aha came for a concert in the early 90s. He was walking around the mall all by himself I COULD NOT BIIILLIIEEEVE IT! He was very nice! I was dying extatic! He mentioned Brazilian audience 😍😍😍❤️dying again all these years later!
Morten looks young and handsome as ever... And his voice is still the same- deep, emotional...Paul and Magne are obviously still very talented...Gah, I love you guys!! Keep making great music!! Long live A-ha!
Hey Morten If you are watching. Yourself and the band Magne and Paul stayed at our hotel back in 1984 while you were in to UK. We sat together watching the Gremlins movie .. Never forgotten.. I have our Guests book with your signature and remarks on our hotel.... At the time i didn't realise who you guy were... until i Listened to Take On Me. Been a Fan ever since
I remember their debut in California, I thought I must not watch them again, they had too much beauty! Coming here all the way from Norway 🇳🇴(sounded nervous) but I thought, so brave! Sang their songs 🎵 in English, soooo smart & enjoyable ! I heard one say they Would be in front of a big crowd yet Feel peace, soooo spiritual ! Why not ! !
I have been a lifelong fan of Morten Harket, and so proud that all 3 band members were Knighted with the 1st Class of the Royal Norwegian Order of St. Olav for their tremendous artistic achievements. As a teenager, I sang, “...And You Tell Me”, for my audition for the local Alaskan opera production of “Camelot”. “The Sun Always Shines On T.V.” was their best masterpiece, in my humble opinion. The instrumental version was the theme music for my own Wedding. My favorite band of all time, and the same for my Dear Son, Sanjay Arman Kumar II . Best Wishes to their futures: ~ Dr. Sanjay Kumar
Dnt say word 80s ...i dnt jnw why it makes me feel very nervous when u hear it ...may be coz i wont ever be able to go back to that..btw i was born in 1992
A-Ha has always been a part of my life... on Minor Earth, Morten gets left on the moon, and I always said "I'll come and save you!" When Cast in Steel came out, I cried.
+Tin_tin132 thats because scandinavians etc eat healthy their whole lives - just take a look at scandinavians in general - swedes, danes, nordes, icelanders, etc they, like asians live longer and healthier because of their countries-what they eat etc their whole lives, not shit like americans, australians put into their bodies-the two most obese nations in the world.............
+heidimsw I doubt morten harket had 'face work' besides, morten is from different sources a born again believer in Jesus, whereas magne and paul are not
Omg Morten Harket is an Adonis. His face is sculpted like a fine piece of art. He's also talented, intelligent and seems polite too. He's my dream guy lol. I never heard the other 2 guys talk until now. I only found out the other 2 guys names, today!!!! Morten used to resent his looks but the reality is that, his looks are what made the band rich and famous!!! He thought being a teenage girl's fantasy was belittling to him and that people only saw his beauty and not his talent.
Morten is such an Alpha male! Look how he sits on the bench and almost crushes the others with his confidence. The body language says it all!! Morten was my first music star celebrity crush. I was 12 or 13, lol.
I wrote this on another site, but I don't see anything wrong with the grammar in "Take on Me," and I'm an English major and editor. Besides, there is such a thing as poetic license. Songs are basically poems set to music. This is a song/poem, after all, not a thesis. That being said, the group fielded the comment very well, i.e., Morten said, "That's why it was a hit." Very clever. I think, too, that everyone watching felt as I did, that we wanted to just run that interviewer off the stage and get someone who has more finese. A good interviewer lets the guest shine; he does not use the moment to shine his own position.
+Rosy Plain SPOT ON....i think both interviewers were totally phased by these boys.I'm a professional songwriter and agree with your "poems set to music" comment...i write stacks of each.
I was about to write 'poetic licence' too, the interviewer tried to make light of the comment, but I thought it was a bit rude. He should have done more research. The lads are also very well-spoken in a language that is not their first, I doubt if the interviewer speaks any other language. Love your comment, love Aha, I regret I didn't attend the free concert they held back when I was studying in Oslo in '05.
Morten is very skilled at giving quick, cryptic answers which don't actually give any clue to his real thoughts. Comes from years of fielding inane questions from shallow interviewers.
❤ não tem como não se emocionar😢 é lindo ver a jornada deles A história é muito lindo eu amo demais essa banda Eu me emociono toda vez que vejo os três eles são meus ídolos❤
