June 3&4 myself, hubby & 2 friends rented a cabin right off the Blue Ridge (meadows of Dan) and rode to Asheville NC stayed the night there & then rode back next day to the cabin. So beautiful! Not sure if you have done it yet but The Back of the Dragon (Rt 16) in VA is some banging corners, great scenery and not so much an obstacle course like the Tail of the dragon. If you can stop on your way through VA ......have a great trip, be safe, smile & manifest those dreams....Namaste

To put the newer bikes in transport/trailer mode, turn the bike to the run position then back to the off position. Then push both turn signals at the same time. The turn signals will flash once then 3 more times and you're all set

Work began in 1935 near Cumberland Knob,NC(mile marker 217). So the real beginning is near the middle of BRP.

Riding in my old back yard. 💞. Told u my story of my wwII vet "grandpa" while u were in Hawai'i. I'm taking my girl to Normandy (fra) in August. Her grandfather is buried at Normandy American Cemetery and Memorial. She'll finally get to say hello for the first time. 👍 Keep up YOUR service. Enjoy your ride stay safe!

You Across from Ryans on the corner of Sardis Rd and Brevard Rd and your at Stone Ridge Tavern which is walking distance to my house in Asheville, NC right off the Blue Ridge PKWY. My house is behind the Stone Ridge Tavern and we run the blue ridge all the time to sliding rock, Gatlinburg, Virginia, and different place but have fun and watch for the bears right now their thick and the deer, hogs, and other things running across the road. Safe travels have fun

Great to see you guys out again. I finally get to get back on my cross country trip for vets tomorrow!! I've been broke down in Texas for 7 days!! My parts will be here tomorrow and I will be ba k on the road. My son is at parris island in Marine boot camp. My ride is for his support of course but for all current and past vets!! I've talked to soooooo many vets already sin e I left Alabama. I didn't realize how much my ride makes a difference to vets. They are extremely appreciative for my support ride, not only mine but anyone! Looking forward to your next video. They always give me the extra push of motivation!! Keep the rubber side down brother!! Tony

Sir. The blue ridge is a great ride. Back when I was in Cape May New Jersey aboard WMEC Alert In 1980-1982, I had a gold wing and would go up in the blue ridge parkway and go camping. Great ride and good memories. Have fun on the ride Sir. Take care and stay safe.

Parkway is a very relaxing ride. Speed limit is 45 and is very well maintained. We are doing a poker run this Saturday and will be hitting the parkway at fancy gap.

I live in Bedford Va, and the Blue Ridge Parkway run through here. It’s a beautiful ride. The National D Day Memorial is here in Bedford and it’s a must see for any Veteran. If you are coming this way I recommend you checking that out if you have time. The Parkway gets more beautiful from this point on

I wanted to say this to you; I grew up in a place where snow and anything below 0 degrees Celsius is non existent. Seeing that video where you rode in the snow really inspired me. I'm from Portugal and I do respect what American Veterans do to keep the West free and safe so yeah mate... Keep at it! One love.

I live in Mount Airy, NC which the parkway is a routine weekend ride. The parkway was built during Franklin Rosevelt presidency and rumor has it that the meaning behind it was built was to transport the president faster on this road then taking major highways. I hope you enjoyed it. Wish I would have known I would have met y'all and bought y'all a beer. Safe travels.

BRP is a National Treasure! Caution listed below! IF you never have ridden any part of it, you should definitely put it on you list.. One of the things that make it so special is... There are very few places on the road.. There are Vista lookout points, but VERY few restaurants, and I believe no gas stations.. It can be 50 miles between exits and you have to travel down the mountain into a town to get to gas or lodging, so plan well, especially IF you have a smaller fuel tank!

Loved that trip, skyway was closed when I got there in April. Some say they dont like the speed limit. I myself loved it great veiws and so inspiring made me feel so small and so lucky to have been in those spots at that moment. Kinda cool tho, every thing above 3600 or3800 ft had ice on the rocks. It was different to get off every time to get gas. Saw alot of deer and turkeys on my trip. Lol theres more that rocks and trees that will jump out and bite you in the butt.✌👍

A much needed stop in Maine would be Bentley’s Saloon. I must warn you the rafters are bra loaded and the brass pig is the attraction . Live bands camping and hotels near by with a shuttle. They also rent out cabins. Hope you both will enjoy your stay in this neck of the country. Ride safe and see you in Laconia.

Blueridge Parkway is a national parkway...Max speed limit is 45mph. Dont get a ticket, you have to go to federal building to pay ticket,,,not local LEOs or local traffic court...

Heading towards my hometown of NYC. On your way back south stop by in South Carolina and ride the wateree river loop. One of the best rides in the state.
