Wow -- shake off the winter blues! Its going to be sunny and 46 degrees today in Sturgeon Bay. Grab a lawn chair and fire up the grill! A jet boat is an interesting choice. The weeds have been terrible the past few years in Sturgeon Bay and the ship canal. I've seen a bunch of jetboats stranded after they've sucked up a few pounds of "Lake Kale". Its not much better with a pontoon and unfortunately a nice big swim platform on a bowrider makes it harder to clear your prop and lower unit. In any case, boat buying is fun and not being pinned down to a single type or layout gives you tons of options. Good Luck and keep it upbeat!
Thanks so much! A jet boat isn't the choice...it's just an option. They are so fun, but I do worry about the weeds. But...being on a trailer means I don't always have to run here in Sturgeon Bay.
Here’s an idea for RU-vid content. We can do a mix topic of flying and boating. Call it “The adventures of Mutt and Jeff”. I’ll let you figure out who’s Mutt. 😂 Life’s full of changes as well you know. Whatever kind of vessel you get, make sure it can make the trip to Menominee sometime. I’ll drop in on you too👍🏻
Been wondering when your next vid might pop. I'm sure if your life is like mine, it's way too busy. Hardly time to think. Stay safe and enjoy a cold one. Cheers!
I’ve been looking at boats but haven’t pulled the trigger on one yet. Been thinking about doing an update vid…but like ya said…finding the time to shoot and edit has been limited lately. Hopefully soon! All good otherwise tho!👍😎😎
Does the that size sea doo have the Mercury engines? In the early 2000’s we sold a few with the 2-stroke engines but I knew they had a next step up with a 4 stroke (I thought by Mercury). I own a Yamaha LS2000 and love it. We use it on the St. Joe River in Benton Harbor to take the kids tubing when we are up staying our 381. They are fun and easy to maintain (the Yamaha at least).
